Improvement of the Financial Performance of the Company

Mine bachelor thesis is divided into three main sections; theoretic section, practical section and the one part with own suggestions for improve. In theoretical part is important to know all the terms that will be needed in the rest of my whole thesis. In the second part of the thesis, there will be applied every knowledge into practice with finance analysis. The outcomes from this part will be compared with optimal values and average values of the particular industry. The methods of financial analysis will be used, such as valuation of profitability or liquidity, but also Zmijewski model and R. Douchy’s analysis. In the last part, suggestion section, there will be used these outcomes from practical section and also, there will be drawn up some solutions for the company to use and improve her financial performance.

Evaluation of the financial situation of the international publishing company SLOVART, s. r. o. and proposals for its improvement

The diploma thesis analyses financial situation of the international company of choosing Vydavateľstvo SLOVART, s. r. o. The diploma thesis consists of three parts. The first part is theoretical and specify main theoretical definitions, which are later used in the analytical part. The second part is analytical and it describes area around company with PESTLE analysis, Porter model and model 7S. Subsequently, financial analysis of the chosen indicators defines the financial situation of the company with the data from accounting’s reports for the period 2014 to 2021. Final part of the thesis deals with the proposals which leads to improvement of the financial situation of the company.
