Using Industry 4.0 principles for mobile warehouse design
Eisenwort, Lukáš ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Binar, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to apply industry 4.0 principles for designing a mo-bile warehouse. The first section contains the literary research, which deals with industry 4.0 in logistics. Next part deals smart warehouses and military warehouses. Analysis of the current state of the warehouse follows, technologies and processes in the military warehouse to be exact. Afterwards, the automation design of this warehouse is addressed. Both the current and the automated states are compared using the Saaty method. Finally, the photovoltaic system is designed.
Measurement and anaysis of electrocardiograms
Zimáková, Jana ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of my barchelor’s thesis was to become familiar with the methology of measurement of electrocardiographic signals, their description and subsequent analysis. During the measurement I used a computer system Biopac and program Matlab. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on general problems of the heart activity, the generation, measurement and description of ECG curves. The second part is devoted to a description of the systém Biopac – recovery, procedure for the measurement and results measured sleep and stress ECG. The third part describes the actual processing of measured signals in Matlab.
Influence of working conditions on the results of X-ray analysis in the low vacuum scanning electron microscope
Hudzik, Martin ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Čudek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with detection of characteristic X-Ray and energy dispersive spectroscopy in the environment of low vacuum scanning electron microscope. Describes the detection of X-Ray by silicon drifted detector and also describes the principles of qualitative and quantitative X-Ray analysis. The objective of this thesis is to perform energy dispersive spectroscopy of known elements under the optimal conditions and to monitor changes of parameters and results of the spectroscopy during the change of working conditions in low vacuum scanning electron microscope Vega3 XMU with Xflash 6|10 spectroscope.
Ionization detector of secondary electrons for environmental scanning electron microscope
Dušek, Petr ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Čudek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with problematics of a detection of secondary electrons by ionization detector for environmental scanning electron microscope. In this thesis is described the difference between scanning electron microscope and environmental scanning electron microscope. Further there is described emission and detection of the choosen signals that arise while primary electrons are interacting with a specimen in scanning electron microscope. A special emphasis is placed on a description, sorting and on the form of detection of secondary electrons. In thesis there is described principle of a function of ionization a scintilation detectors. Experimental part of thesis describes design of 3 different elctrode systems of a tabular ionization detector, which will be intended to be placed in environmental scanning electron microscope. Based on measuring with the detectors, with experimental design, there is chosen one with the highest quality of signal detection.
Influence of working conditions on the signal level detected by LVSTD detector
Tylich, Ondřej ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Čudek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor project includes information about function of low vacuum scanning electron microscope and describes it’s parts. It explains the difference between low vacuum and high vacuum scannig electron microscope. Contains informations about creation and detection of secondary electrons using scintillation detectors. It describes the calculation of signal to noise ratio and the method for obtaining the values of signal. Project is focused to determine the value of signal with a change in working conditions obtained by using Low Vacuum Secondary Electron Detector TESCAN (LVSTD). The aim is to determine the stability of the effect of working conditions on LVSTD.
Design of a kit for the creation of a supply point for electricity generated from renewable sources
Fridrich, Jiří ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Binar, Tomáš (advisor)
This project deals with the design and realisation of a set that will work as a power supply point with electricity generated from renewable energy sources. The theoretical part deals with information about renewable energy sources and energy storage options. In the practical part, a mobile kit for powering variable message traffic signs is designed. It uses photovoltaic panels and stores energy in a lead-acid battery. A methanol fuel cell is used for backup power. The device is adapted for use in road traffic and meets the requirements of the relevant authorities. To verify the stability of the structure, there were performed static calculations, which proved the ability of the device to withstand wind stress. Part of the work was to draw a complete production documentation, which was used to create a test sample. Long-term measurements of energy flows in the system were performed on that sample. These measurements confirmed the ability of the device to operate autonomously and the possibility of using it for the required purpose.
Negative lead electrode for hybrid electric vehicles
Opravil, Petr ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This bachelors thesis is focusing on degradational proceses occurring in electrodes of lead-acid batteries working in parcial state of charge used in hybrid electric vehicles. Studied topics include storage of electrical energy, hybrid powertrains and lead-acid accumulators. Experimental cells have been made and were later used in experiments maintaining partial state of charge. This work is focused on finding a link between silanized glass fibres added to the electrodes and lowering the amount of degradation of cells.

Microscopic Observations of Active Mass Structures of the Negative Electrode of a Lead-Acid Battery
Zimáková, Jana ; Dostál, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kohout,, Jan (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This doctoral dissertation deals with the study of the effect of additives on the properties of the negative electrode of a lead-acid battery. The work focuses on the investigation of the additive/base material interface for the negative electrode (so-called active mass) using atomic force microscopy (AFM). A lead sheet was used as the base material, on which the given additive was applied. The effects of carbon, TiO2, glass fibers and Indulin AT were specifically investigated. The negative electrode was cycled by a potentiostat in a defined manner and the morphology of the electrode surface was continuously scanned by AFM. This created a time sequence of images on which events on the surface of the electrode during its charging/discharging were captured. These records serve to better understand the effect of additives on the resulting properties of constructed lead-acid cells, specifically on the ability to form or dissolve PbSO4 crystals, which are formed during cell discharge and are responsible for the decrease in total capacity - gradual surface sulfation.
Use of 3D printing technology for the design of spare parts production
Šafl, Pavel ; Zimáková, Jana (referee) ; Binar, Tomáš (advisor)
This seminar thesis deals with the issue of 3D printing in companies. The aim was to describe additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies. Moreover, to select the most common materials which are used and describe them. It was also necessary to perform a study of mechanical stresses and prepare a detailed description of the mechanical properties of materials. From these data, methods of use in the automotive industry were described. The most important part was to introduce case studies and create a description of which 3D printing technologies have the fastest return on investment.
