Media literacy of current Czech senior citizens: a case study from Brno

The following master's thesis deals with the issue of media literacy in relation to elderly population. The theoretical basis of this work contains of the theory of media literacy and media education, which is regarded to as a tool for cultivating media literacy. In addition to media education, the work also presents other ways to acquire media competencies, which are so needed in today's information society. After the introduction of theoretical approaches to media literacy, there is also a description of selected methods applied to determine the level of media literacy. The next part includes a description of media literacy in relation to senior citizens who form a very specific group in this area. As part of my own research survey, the level of media literacy in a group of 12 senior citizens is mapped on the basis of a proposed tool for determining the level of media literacy, which is based on the presented theoretical approaches. Qualitative research includes a detailed analysis of data, which were collected through interviews with the target group and which were supplemented by practical exercises. The Quality of Care Provided in Children's Groups from the Caretaking People

This bachelor thesis deals with the quality of early childhood care in children's group focused on caretaking people. The children's group came into being in 2014 and they are the centre of attention and obscurities when it comes to their quality. It highlights the importance of a quality early childhood care and introduces the best-known indicators of a quality care relating to caretaking people which is also used as a base of the qualitative research. In terms of these indicators the qualification of the staff and their working conditions are studied in six chosen children's group. The semi-structured interviews, uninvolved observation and the analysis of the primary data lead to following summary: the common barrier while providing a care which is also influencing the quality is insufficient qualification of caretaking people and also their working conditions. Subjective emotions about the insufficiency of the qualification rise from the function of a children's group which is very unclear and there is no framework which the caretaking people should be following. Hodnocení výkonnosti a rizikovosti dluhopisových podílových fondů

Práce hodnotí výkonnost a rizikovost 3 největších dluhopisových fondů v ČR.Charakterizuje subjekty kolektivního investování, jeho výhody a nevýhody, právní a daňové aspekty.Popisuje riziko a jeho měření. Uvádí základní charakteristiku dluhopisu. Obsahuje způsoby měření rizika a výkonnosti podílových fondů. U vybraných fondů sleduje ukazatele: nominální a reálná výkonnost fondů, poměr celkových nákladů (TER), srovnání s benchmarkem, směrodatná odchylka, dodatečná výnosová míra, Sharpův a Treynorův poměr, Jensenova metoda.

Ocenenie konkrétneho podniku metódou DCF Entity a EVA

V práci sa sústerím na strategickú analýzu (vymedzenie relevantného trhu, analýzu vonkajšieho a vnútorného potenciálu podniku a jeho konkurenčnú silu); finančnú analýzu podniku, pomerové ukazovatele vrátane EVA; generátory hodnoty a finančý plán. Vlastné ocenenie podniku výnosovými metódami DCF Entity a EVA; výpočet pokračujúcej hodnoty pomocou Gordonovho a parametrického vzorca; výpočet priemerných vážených nákladov na kapiál.
