Adaptive Plot Generation in Role-Playing Game
Vymazal, Jiří ; Grochol, David (referee) ; Hrbáček, Radek (advisor)
Generating a story, while trying to preserve at least some qualities of author-written narrative is a complex issue. In this thesis several currently existing systems and approaches are discussed. Then, a solution based on evolutionary computation is presented, and its traits shown on small-scale proof-of-concept scenario. Finally, this approach is compared againist existing solutions.
Monolithic multi-storey wall building
Vymazal, Jakub ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Bažant, Zdeněk (advisor)
Final thesis with tittle: "Monolithic multi-storey wall building" is processeed as a project documentation according to valid assesment. The object is located in the city of Boskovice, 35 Hybešova street. Its ground plan dimensions are 52,8m x 12,5m. Total height of object is 22,3m including roof-wall, measured from the level of base chink. There are enclosed balconies on the south direction. Movement between floors is ensured by 2-flighted stairs. Object is It is made of reinforced concrete. It is designed as 6-floor bulding with a flat roof. The main supporting construction is created by system of walls and reciprocally asigned ceilings, which are sticked together. Walls are designed as pillars. The building is assigned to a belt bases. Module dimensions are 8,7m in longitudinal direction and 5,2m in transversal direction. Height dimension is 3,0m. The thesis is dealing with the 1st upper floor.
The Warehouse with load capacity 25 kN/m2
Vymazal, Jakub ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Čírtek, Ladislav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis with tittle „The Warehouse with load capacity 25kN/m2“ is processed as a project documentation according to valid assessments. The Warehouse is located in the city of Brno. Its ground plan dimensions are 12x18m. It is made of concrete and designed as a one-floor building with a flat roof. The main supporting construction is created by grate bond, which causes in both directions. It is combination of longitudinalated and transversed frames. There are 3 frames with 6m axis distance and 18m range in the longitudinalated direction and 4 frames with 6m axis distance and 12m range in the transversed direction. Columns in the frames are anchored to base feets. Supporting system of 1st floor is designed as a double-sided beamed ceiling. Beams are designed as continuous girders assigned on a spoke of the frame.
The Evaluation of the Financial Situation’s Company
Palacký, Miloslav ; Vymazal, Jan (referee) ; Luňáček, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the financial situation of company STAMEDOP a.s.among the period from 2006 to 2008. Based on the findings problematic parts, there are formulated proposals for innovation to improve the financial situation of the current bussines state. The thesis is divided into two parts repectively methodological and practical.
Virtual Power Plant Anomaly Detection
Vymazal, Jan ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of a multi-agent system for the detection and prediction of anomalies during the operation of a virtual power plant. The thesis also deals with the implementation of a simulation that puts this multi-agent system into an environment that reflects the gradual addition of data in the real world. It also deals with the principles of communication between agents in a multi-agent environment according to FIPA standards. As part of the work, I created the multi-agent system in the JADE framework in the Java programming language and a script in the Python programming language that implements the simulation.
MR imaging and MR spectroscopy of human during physical stress (MR spectroscopy imaging, MR diffusometry, MR relaxometry etc.)
Šedivý, Petr ; Hájek, Milan (advisor) ; Haberlová, Jana (referee) ; Vymazal, Josef (referee)
The dissertation is concerned to in vivo phosphorus MR spectroscopy (31 P MRS) and 1 H MR imaging (MRI) of muscle in combination with physical workload. The theoretical part of the thesis describes methodology of 31 P MRS measurement and its clinical use in research of metabolic changes in diabetes, heart failure and peripheral artery disease (PAD). The results of the thesis are divided into methodical and clinical parts. Methodical results deal with the construction of experimental equipment, software modification and development, and show of the reproducibility of the dynamic 31 P MRS. The MRI after exercise was used to the describe involvement of the individual calf muscles to muscle contraction during pedal movement in MR compatible ergometer. The first part of the clinical results of the thesis describes changes in muscle metabolism during diabetes and critical ischemia. In patients with critical ischemia the effect of treatment by angioplasty or transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells was evaluated. In the second part of the clinical results the metabolism of patients with heart failure complicated by sideropenia was studied. In these patients the effect of experimental treatment by iron carboxymaltose was described.

Coronary atherosclerosis imaging using CT coronary angiography in patients with high risk of coronary heart disease
Baxa, Jan ; Ferda, Jiří (advisor) ; Vymazal, Josef (referee) ; Mechl, Marek (referee)
Coronary atherosclerosis imaging using CT coronary angiography in patients with high risk of coronary heart disease Coronary heart disease (CHD) belongs to most frequent disorders and in industrial countries is responsible for most deaths in population. The costs of treatment of the clinical manifested CHD are high, so there is tendency to detect this disease in early phase and ideally before development of clinical symptoms. Aim of our study was to evaluate the value of coronary CT angiography (CCTA) in detecting of coronary atherosclerosis in early (preclinical) phase. Our goals were estimation of prevalence of atherosclerosis in group, influence of main risk factors on grade and character of atherosclerotic changes. In follow-up we concerned on occurrence of cardiac events. 205 patients with increased cardiovascular risk underwent CCTA using dual-source CT. Coronary findings were analyzed by character of atherosclerotic changes and degree of event. stenosis. Statistical evaluation of influence of risk factors was made using the odds ratio. The statistically important differences were tested between subgroup of type 2 diabetics and non-diabetics. All patients were under follow-up for two years. Overall prevalence of atherosclerosis in analyzed group was 73 %, calcified lesions were found in 63.9 %...
Early diagnosis of memory disorders in neurodegenerative disease
Kadlecová, Alexandra ; Hort, Jakub (advisor) ; Stuchlík, Aleš (referee) ; Vymazal, Josef (referee)
lncreased incidence and prevalence of dementi a syndrome is related to ageing of the population. The most common cause of dementia is Alzheimer disease (AD), which represents serious health, social and economical burden to the society. Current diagnostic criteria and research of AD tend to make a diagnosis of AD at the earliest stages or the disease, when the likelihood to influence the course ofthe disease is the highest and extension of the period with high quality of life can be expected. AD begins by impairment or mediotemporal structures - amygdala and hippocampus. Atrophy in these critical brain structures is well detectable before the onset of dementia syndrome and can be manifested by Hrst clinical symptoms. Presented PhD thesis deals with detection of these early signs of AD - spatial disorientation, emotional agnosia and behavioural disturbances or patients with mild cognitive impairrnent, the condition understood as prodromal stage of AD.
