A possibilities of use of Phalaris arundinacea for energetic utilisation

The aim of my thesis was to compare selectid allotment, Botanical composition of allotmnet and prortion were monitored. Assessment of medium water content in soil. For parametrs of burning was to find number of fertile and sterile culm. In literal research are summarized common data about biomass and particular grass used for energetic purposes. Detailed description of reed canary grass and its description, agrotechnology and harvest. It is also important to mention processing of biomass in to the shape briquet and pelets. In the last part of research is description of burning device for used biomass. The practice part description to optain sample particular lokalities and these results and compares them.
New Trends in Business Intelligence - Focus on Big Data and Hadoop

The thesis is focused on several specific areas. The first area is the identification of new trends in the field of Business Intelligence in recent years. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on Big Data (Hadoop). The main purpose is to show the possible use of the Hadoop technology on real-world examples. What is also important, is a section dedicated to comparison of Business Intelligence tools for working with Big Data as it is the section which proofs standpoint from several significant aspects -- angels (analysis, visualization and connectivity). The work is divided into several parts in which the components of Business Intelligence, new trends in BI, Hadoop technology in the context of BI, Hadoop components are described, as well as examples of using Hadoop and comparison of selected BI tools to work with BI is introduced within the thesis. The main purpose of the thesis is to serve as a guide to the world of BI and Big Data (Hadoop).
Business Intelligence reporting tools and possibilities

This bachelor thesis focuses on the area of Business Intelligence. The aim is to show the basic BI, analysis of new trends in this area and comparison of selected reporting tools according to established criteria. In bachelor thesis was achieved the stated objectives becoming familiar with the concept of BI, its basic principles and general architecture. The bachelor thesis analyzes the main trends in this area. The practical part contains a comparison of selected reporting tools and criteria for this comparison. This work give readers generally knowledge in BI, can also serve as a basis for the selection of reporting tools.
Analysis of BI data using geographic information system

The topic of the current Master's thesis is Business Intelligence's data presentation using maps. Through integrating BI and geographic information systems a new discipline is emerging - Location Intelligence. The main goal of this thesis is to highlight and analyse reporting possibilities of the BI tools in the framework of maps. The theoretical part of this paper is dedicated to the foundation and principles of geographic information systems and their intersection with BI, where such field as Location Intelligence is being created. In the practical part of the thesis the BI tools IBM Cognos and Oracle BI are compared. The comparison is based on the following criteria: field of implementation, visualization, map external sources and performance. The evaluating criteria are defined in the beginning of the practical part as well as the evaluation method. The methods of analysis and information collecting were used to extract and revise the knowledge from specific electronic and printed sources in Czech or English. Sources for the practical part origin from my technical knowledge of the field of BI, as well as practical experience with implementation of map sources as a feature of Business Intelligence. Statistical methods are used for evaluation of the criteria results. The practical and theoretical value of the thesis lies in creating the lucid comparison of implementation of the map sources into the selected BI tools and options for reporting or visualization of BI data over map. Apart from comparison the framework for implementation of maps into the selected BI tools is established in the above mentioned work.
Modern Trends in BI and their use in practice

The main purpose is to show the possible use of the Business Intelligence in the nontraditional sectors on the real-world examples . What is also important, is a section dedicated to case studies, because it shows use of Business Intelligence in the real-world companies and institutions. The work is divided into several parts in which are desribed components of Business Intelligence, new trends in the field of BI, future of BI, putting into practice, suggestion for different types of enteprises and case studies from real-world praction. The main purpose of the thesis is to serve as a guide to the world of BI and its uses in the practice.
Sound interface in application for the blind

This work addresses use of sound interface in application for blind users. Correct application design is achieved by analysis of similar applications and by assesment of problematic areas in creation of applications for blind users. This work suggests rules for solving these problematic areas, which are underlined in practical part. Practical part of this work is mainly focused on design and creation of application, which offers alternative approach to file management. Application is based on speech synthesis and accessibility for blind users, which is achieved by use of open source libraries. The main benefit of this work is suggesting rules, which can serve in creating accessible applications and realization of application, which is based on those rules.
Profession roles connected by data management

In my thesis I focus on the processing of bussiness data, which is referred to as Data governance. It is an area of data management, which is still in development and is not yet understood as a common and standard way to handle bussiness data. In the introduction of the thesis, I define what DG is and how it can be seen from different angles: both from the perspective of people, and from the perspective of the benefits it has for the company. I also deal with the fundamental roles that are defined within the DG and, according to the literature are important to its functioning. Then I focus on the issue of phases definitions, which are important for the implementation of DG into the company from the point of view of both Czech and foreign literature. In the practical part of my thesis I focus on surveys conducted by IBM, SAS, Rand Worlwide and Dataversity and based on the results of these surveys I examine the situation of DG in various companies and in different sectors. In the last part, I focuse on success factors of DG, both in terms of the results of the surveys, as well as from the experience of an expert on the issue of DG Joy. L. Medved.
Implementation of Google Apps for Work in a small business

This diploma thesis deals with a product Google Apps for Work as a cloud-based tool for businesses. The main idea of this work is to describe the offered service and to deploy it to a real company on the Czech market, belonging to the sector of small and medium-sized companies. The theoretical part is based on a literature review of technical books, articles, and other electronic sources. The subsequent description and evaluation of the implementation is based on real-world knowledge in deploying the product to an existing company. The main contribution of this work is the introduction of service and submission of infor-mation to leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises and their IT specialists for decisi-ons regarding the implementation of cloud services in the field of communication and cooperation.
Evaluating of SLA in HP Quality Center

The objective of this thesis is to propose and describe the database, which enables to measure compliance of Service Level Agreement suppliers of software applications that work with HP Quality Center. The work describes specific solution used in project to implement a new core business system, describes requirements for functionality and use of result the solution. Briefly described is also HP Quality Center, the testing tool, from which are taken the input data and what possibility offers for monitoring the SLA. The proposed database allows calculation of the time which is actually spent by suppliers on solving the errors and comparison of calculated time with the defined SLA. It will also describe how to import data into the database and the basic reports, which are usable after implementation of the proposed solution.
The possibilities of using social networks in company

This bachelor thesis deals with the opportunities of usage social networks within a company. At the moment, corporate social services are an important instrument for communication and facilitation inside the company. That's why, it is important to know, what social networks serve for and what are the pros and cons of using these instruments. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part gives a preview of the main social networks, both in general and detailed. The second part presents the practical implementation of a company's social network. The case study shows the selection and implementation of social network inside the company. More than that, the potential advantages and disadvantages inside the company are also analyzed. Among the main goals of this thesis are to get the reader acknowledged with the phenomenon of social networks, to offer a solution regarding how to choose the most suitable social network for a particular company, to present and analyze the modern communication technologies on a company level. These technologies are considered to be social networks and are meant to improve the communication inside and between companies.
