An apartment building with student dormitories on Peace Square in Brno

The subject of my bachelor's thesis focuses on the concept of a residential building and student dormitories in the urban district of Brno – Stránice. The studied area is situated in close proximity to Kraví Hory. The northwest boundary of the plot also represents the outskirts of Náměstí Míru. The southwest part of the plot adjoins existing student dormitories, while the southeast boundary connects to a local road, Cyril and Methodius gymnasium, and a secondary vocational school for pedagogy. The surroundings efficiently connect to urban transportation infrastructure, and in terms of automobile traffic, the area is linked to several main roads, with direct access from the north to the main road Údolní and further to the adjacent Lerchova Street. The proposed complex consists of a residential building and student dormitories. This work specifically addresses one of the two blocks of student dormitories, a four-story building with one underground floor. In the underground floor, there are garages and a technical room. The top of the building is terminated by a flat green roof. The construction is designed using a system of ceramic masonry, Porotherm, insulated with mineral wool. The ceilings are predominantly designed systematically, using the MIAKO ceiling system, with the exception of the ceiling above the basement. Each floor offers six dormitory rooms for two to three students, and from the second floor upwards, some rooms are supplemented with comfortable balconies. These rooms include a kitchen, bathroom and a living area. End rooms are specially designed for individuals with reduced mobility. Each floor's corridor provides space for communication, reading, or phone calls, thanks to the presence of seating furniture. The basement serves as garages and also houses a technical room. The building's facade is designed as plastered, complemented by window frames antracid coloured and railings in turquoise, contributing to young appearance of the entire structure.

Analise of opencard marketing mix

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse marketing mix of project opencard. The theoretical part describes basic principles of marketing, marketing mix and also marketing research. The practical part introduces opencard project from its launch to the market to the present state. The core of the practical part presents and analyses individual tools of marketing mix. A part of the thesis is also marketing research. This part summarizes results of my research based on questionnaires. Here I investigated opinions of citizens of Prague and Central Bohemian region concerning the opencard project. Based on these results main weaknesses of marketing mix were revealed. I also propřed opportunities how to improve marketing communication of this project. The final part contains a complete list of results and evaluation of marketing mix of opencard project.

The Impact of Ffiscal Policy on Foreign Exchange Rate Developments in the Last Decade

Diploma thesis deals with problem whether fiscal policy has an impact on development of currency exchange rate. The first aim of the thesis is to describe some theoretical models which consider possibilities of relationship between fiscal policy and currency exchange rate and to give a notice where can be differences. The thesis introduces a function of fiscal policy, a creation of currency exchange rate and describes an environment of exchange market. Currency exchange rate is stable on its market defined value in the long term. I suppose also that interventions of leaders of fiscal policy can not influence currency exchange rate positively. On the other hand, there could be a negative impact on currency exchange rate by leaders of fiscal policy. The second aim of the thesis is to analyze an impact of government debt on development of currency exchange rate, mainly are analyzed the Czech republic, Great Britain and some other selected countries of the European union. In the thesis are provided macroeconomic data of mentioned countries, mainly government debt to gross domestic product, budget deficit to gross domestic product, development of currency exchange rate and some information about macroeconomic situation of countries. Final part of the thesis provides an analysis of an impact of debt on currency exchange rate (correlation analysis, graphical comparing).

Marketing communication and publication of the new book on the book market

The objective of the Diploma thesis is monitoring of promotional activities of the publishing house Maxdorf, made in context of publication of the book "Slovník nespisovné češtiny". The work focuses on distribution of the book to the partner net of bookstores in the Czech Republic and on activities supporting of the sell. The results of promotion will be compared with costs spent on the promotion and also with revenue from sold prints. In the conclusion, possible occasions and threats that can affect sell and promotion of the "Slovník nespisovné češtiny" will be described.

Labour Market Analysis in Karlovy Vary

Práce se zabývá analýzou pracovního trhu v Karlovarském kraji mezi lety 2000 - 2006. Charakterizuje polohu, ekonomickou stránku kraje a vývoj obyvatelstva. Část je věnována zaměstnanosti a volným pracovním místům. Průběh nezaměstnanosti je detailněji popsán ve třetí kapitole. Analýzu efektivnosti rekvalifikačních kurzů v Karlovarském okrese porovnávám s výsledky analýzy pro Českou republiku za rok 2004. Konkrétně analýza obsahuje indexy cílenosti a hrubé efekty rekvalifikací.
