The subject of this thesis is to verify effect of aluminium powder in ground refractory coatin, which is intended for casting od steel castings to organic bonded moulds. The pre-sence of aluminium powder in ground coating was expertised on term of coating in itself - that means immunity to heat shock, penetration etc., and in term of influence on formation of surface defects etc. Outputs of this thesis are: setting of optimum amount of aluminium powder in ground coating and statistically verified analysis of effects of modified coating in term of creation of defects
The role of music in the revitalization and preservation of the Ruthenian language and culture (a case study in the NE of Slovakia)

The presented thesis is focused on the role of music in ethnolinguistic revitalization activities. The aim of the work is to map and analyse the relationship between music and language in the environment of the ethnolinguistic minority in Slovakia. Ethnolinguistic revitalization includes efforts to revive and maintain a disappearing language in a minority ethnic group and strengthen the ethnic identity of members of the ethnic group. We encounter such activities more and more often in the world. In this thesis, the author examines the use of music and songs within the private and public sphere of the life of members of an ethnic minority, the role and function of music in the culture of a particular ethnic minority, and the degree of influence of music on the ethnolinguistic revitalization movement. Specifically, the mentioned tendencies are examined among the ethnic Ruthenians in Slovakia, where there has been an observable linguistic shift towards the Slovak language. For the purpose of the work, field research was also carried out, from which the obtained material was properly processed, analysed and interpreted. At the same time, during the research, the broader social and historical context was taken into account and compared with the current situation and the conclusions of previous research....
Motivation and remuneration of employees in a medium-sized company-mas

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the state of remuneration of employees, the way of their motivation and suggest a possible change of the system based on the found results. The aim of the first, theoretical part is the synthesis of professional publications, the output of which will be a literary overview. The comprehensive view of the issue is set and there are analysed the most important theoretical findings relating to the medium-sized business, motivation, motivation theory, motivation and remuneration, remuneration management and its objectives, rewards and work performance, the structure and form of wages, evaluation of work, the most common forms of wages, employee benefits, MS as an instrument for motivation and remuneration. The course of the research is presented in the practical part and it is carried out in the XY health insurance company. At first, this organization is briefly described and then a self-directed research is conducted through a questionnaire survey of counter staff, client centre managers and project managers / shoppers, the current state of employee remuneration and motivation is analysed.Subsequently, an analysis of the effect of the IMS reward compared with the adoption of IMS and motivation for improvement of client center managers and counter-staff is performed. Thus the data obtained from the questionnaire survey with the data provided by the company on IMS remuneration are compared. Finally, the acquired data are evaluated, suggested recommendations for improvement of the situation and a summary of the work is drawn up.

Influence of Manager´s Personality on Management of Enterprise

This thesis examines whether the manager's personality type affects employees of the company and the quality of managerial work. The goal is to measure the influence of the personality type of managers on the enterprise management. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive look at the issue and provides the most fundamental theoretical knowledge concerning the manager's profile in the organization. The practical part begins with a characteristics of the middle agricultural enterprise where the research is conducted. The current measure of the influence of the manager's personality on employees is investigated using the method of questionnaire given to employees. Personality typology of specific managers is determined by means of the MBTI test, i.e. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The obtained data are compared and evaluated. The thesis concludes with suggestions and recommendations for improving the quality of business management depending on the manager's personality.
