The influence of climate on the radial growth of Scots pine in the northern Scandinavia

The presented master's thesis deals with the influence of climate on the radial growth of Scots pine in the northern Scandinavia. Trees growing at the polar treeline are sensitive to environmental changes, and therefore their wood is used to study growth responses to ongoing climate change. During the period of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century, air temperatures and precipitation sums were correlated with tree rings and dendroanatomical data of Scots pine from northern Finland. It was found that the widths of the tree rings had a slightly increasing trend during the observed period. Within the framework of the correlation relations, the controlling influence of the air temperatures of the current July on annual increments was confirmed. Thanks to the higher temperatures of the summer season, wider tree rings were formed. In addition, May and summer precipitation have been shown to be important for the final width of the tree ring. The currently often discussed problem of decoupling the tree ring chronology curve from rising summer temperatures ("divergence problem") was not clearly observed in this work. The spread of invasive neophytes in the riparian vegetation of the Úpa River

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the distribution of invasive neophytes in the riparian vegetation of the East Bohemian river Úpa and compares the findings with other streams. In the practical part, in the summer of 2020, the occurrence and abundance of 17 selected taxa of invasive neophytes in segments with a length of 500 m are monitored, for statistical evaluation merged into sections 2-3.5 km long. In almost 60 km of vegetation (in the sum of both banks) there are 7 taxa of invasive neophytes with different degrees of representation. Unequivocally dominant is in terms of the absolute number and share of occupied segments the taxon Impatiens parviflora occurring in almost the entire mapped area. Reynoutria sp., I. glandulifera and Solidago sp., which are concentrated in certain localities, can also be mentioned as numerous taxa. All segments are invaded. A more significant invasion process is taking place on the right bank of the river. In the Czech context, Úpa is one of the more invasively loaded streams. This plan is based on cooperation of US and Colombian government. The work should as well describe history and details of colombian armed conflict between the official colombian army, guerillas and paramilitaries. Work introduces drug cartels, which had operated on colombian territory for forty years and main armed groups influencing political and economical progress in Colombia. My work contains human rights issues in colombian civil war.
