The issue of the development of emotional intelligence in organizations

In my work I deal with the development of emotional intelligence in the organization, which is Zbraslav Veterinary Clinic. For my research, I start from theoretical bases of emotional intelligence, which are currently accepted. Emotional intelligence theory is further supported by the knowledge of emotions, so one chapter devoted to emotion.
For the development of the current definition of emotional intelligence, on which I rely on the job, it is important to know the different views of what emotional intelligence actually means and what folders it contains. Other chapters are therefore dedicated to different definitions of emotional intelligence from various authors and also the connection between emotional intelligence and other intelligence components (eg. The intellectual, social, practical, etc.).
The last theoretical chapter is devoted to the development of the folders of emotional intelligence by Goleman (1997), and I use there exercises from book by Pletzer (2009).
The practical part of my work is based on a survey among employees of the clinic and an interview with the owner of the clinic MVDr. Eduard Voldřich. In the questionnaires, I mainly focused on the degree of emotional intelligence depending on the with age, education and occupational position. Thanks to the interview, I received information on possible development of emotional intelligence of employees of the clinic and also about what barriers need to be assessed.
