Notion of sovereignty of state in current international law Abstract This master thesis deals with the Sovereignty of the state from the perspective of current international law. Given the scope of the topic, sovereignty was opposed to selected phenomena of international law and arguments, emphasizing the importance of state sovereignty in the current international legal concept, were built on selected current issues. The author tried to find out whether sovereignty is still present today, or whether it is just an empty concept. The work is divided into three major chapters. In the first of them, the author deals with the history and development of the concept of sovereignty. Through an extensive analysis, the author shows the changes in the understanding of state sovereignty and the importance of this understanding for the development of the international community and international law, with a help of individual judgments of international courts and in key documents of international law. The opinions of the most important scholars of individual eras and discourse in the current understanding of this concept are not neglected either. Promotion of selected company

This thesis deals with one of the key marketing communication tool of Tesco company, which is a promotional leaflet. The aim is to evaluate how is visual design and user friendliness of leaflet perceived independently and in relation to competing leaflets. The first part defines the theoretical basis of the areas of marketing, marketing communications and marketing research. The following practical part of the thesis contains a two-phase marketing research composed of individual in-depth interviews, which is followed a survey. In conclusion, the research results are summarized. Based on the results proposals are recommended for possible improvements of the current version of leaflet.
Austrian business cycle theory and its application to the Great Depression

This thesis deals with the Austrian business cycle theory. At the beginning it introduce methodology of the Austrian School. It also describes the Austrian structures of the capital and production based on time preference, which are necessary to understand this whole theory. One of goals is to show the possible causes of the business cycle, which the Austrian economists see in the monetary expansion. This causes a reduction in interest rates, disorientation of investors and the spread of investment demand. Furthermore, the task is to verify the viability of this theory in practice, applications to the Great Depression in the U.S.. Here this thesis analyzes the anti-crisis measures of the government of presidents Hoover and Roosevelt. Results are compared with the assumptions of Austrian theory and based on this comparison it draws conclusions.
