Evaluation of potential Alzheimer's disease drugs as prolyloligopeptidase inhibitors
Soukupová, Andrea ; Trejtnar, František (advisor) ; Cahlíková, Lucie (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Candidate: Mgr. Andrea Soukupová Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. František Trejtnar, CSc. Supervisor specialist: plk. doc. PharmDr. Daniel Jun, PhD. Title of Thesis: Evaluation of potential Alzheimer's disease drugs as prolyloligopeptidase inhibitors Alzheimer's disease (AD), which now seems to be one of the most common types of dementia, is alarming health, economic and social threat worldlwide. Despite of significant progression in research during the last decade, casual treatment remains still unknown. Treatment of AD is limited only to suppression of the symptoms by centrally acting inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase and memantine. Enzyme prolyloligopeptidase (POP) plays a role in regulation of neuronal peptides levels and therefore POP has gained attention as one of possible target for the treatment of neuronal disorders. Because effect of POP inhibitors on cognitive functions improvement was reported, the aim of this thesis was to determinate the inhibitory aktivity of newly prepared substabces. These substances were primarily designed as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors with potential N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonism. Additional POP inhibitory potential of novel compounds would even...
Chování spotřebitele na trhu se vzdělávacími kurzy v ČR
Soukupová, Andrea
Soukupová, A., Consumer behavior on the market with educational courses. Diploma Thesis. Brno: Mendel university, 2018. The diploma thesis deals with behavior of the 15 – 40 years old consumers on the market with educational courses in the Czech Republic. Reasons for participating or not participating courses of nonformal educational courses are included in this thesis, as well as factors influencing consumer while purchasing the course and the preferred form of teaching. It is analyzed if consumers prefer personal training, video courses or other forms. Primary data were obtained through survey and in-depth interviews. Data from quantitative research were used in cluster analysis. In the end, factors influencing the consumer shopping behavior are determined, as well as the characteristics of market with educational courses segments and recommendations for educational institutions.

Influencing motor activity in laboratory rat offspring by specific antagonist of AMPA receptors.
Soukupová, Andrea ; Mareš, Pavel (advisor) ; Valeš, Karel (referee)
The IEM 1460 is a potential age-specific anticonvulsant and an indicator of the distribution of AMPA receptor subtypes among rat brain cells. It is a derivative of adamantane, that was tested in previous studies on models of human myoclonic and generalized tonic-clonic seizures with promising results. In this thesis we evaluated its effect on the motor activity of rat offspring in the age of 12, 18 and 25 days, we used 90 animals in total . The effect was evaluated 30 minutes after intraperitoneal administration of IEM 1460 in two doses, 10 mg/kg or 20 mg/kg, and was compared to the control animals with physiological solution applied intraperitoneally in amount of 20 mg/kg. To test the animals we used Open field test, righting reflex, negative geotaxis, horizontal bar test, rope climbing test, regular and irregular horizontal ladder test. The tests were applied to animals in mentioned order. There were found significant changes influencing motor behaviour, primarily in the 12 days old animals with the dose of 20 mg/kg IEM 1460 and in the 25 days old animals with both doses of IEM 1460, 10 and 20 mg/kg. In the 18 days old animals the results were less significant. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
