The analysis of dynamic effects in the frog region of railway turnout
Balash, Arsen ; Pazdera, Luboš (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on measurement and analysis of dynamic effects on railway turnouts. Two same-type turnouts with different fastening elasticity were chosen. My attention was focused mainly on the crossing part of the turnout, where the highest dynamic impacts occur. The point of the thesis is comparison of the crossing part of turnouts in term of dynamic behaviour and assessment of influence of soft rail pads on spread of dynamic energy through the construction. A part of the thesis is choice of methodology of the measurement and proposal of convenient mathematical apparatus for analysing of the dynamic effects on crossings.
The analysis of the dynamic parameters of the superstructure
Holemý, Ondřej ; Pazdera, Luboš (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
The masters thesis is about operational testing on selected constructions of a railway track „in situ“. There were selected two sections with and without under sleeper pads on a railway track for measurement. These measurements were evaluated then. The result is an assessment of the suitability or unsuitability for under sleeper pads for a rail transport.

This thesis is focused on measurement and analysis of dynamic effects on railway turnouts. Two turnouts with different wear condition were chosen. My attention was focused mainly on the crossing part of the turnout, where the highest dynamic impacts occur. The point of the thesis is comparison of the crossing part of turnouts in term of dynamic behaviour and assessment of influence of the wearing depth on dynamic effects. A part of the thesis is proposal of methodology of the measurement and convenient mathematical apparatus for analysing of dynamic effects on crossings.
Analysis of the dynamic effects in the turnout
Vukušič, Ivan ; Zvěřina, Pavel (referee) ; Hřebačka,, Milan (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
The vibration of the railway superstructure is mainly influenced by its quality, by the operational technical conditions, climatic phenomena and above all by the dynamic load by the pair of wheels of the rail vehicles and also by the quality of railway subgrade. Simultaneously, the dynamic parameters also depend on the speed of rail vehicles, on the arrangement of axles, their spring mounting and on the spring mounting of the body casing or on the weight acting on the axle, and last but not least, also on the quality of the running surface of the wheel tyre. The dynamic effects of sets of wagons are transferred through the rails to the rail pads below the base of the rails, then to the sleepers or bearers and fastening system, then to the ballast bed and also to the superstructure construction. This fact applies especially for turnout structures. In turnout rigidity is changed and also there is a place where the wheel passes over a gap (in case of fixed crossings). In particular of above mentioned reasons, turnout is a place where high dynamic effects occurre and that is why often defects occurre. Dissertation thesis will be focused on measurement and analysis of the dynamic effects on turnout. The point of the thesis will be updating recent system (observing of the geometrical parameters and wear of the rails in turnouts) for dynamic effect observe. Methodology of the measurement and convenient mathematical apparatus for analysing dynamic effect will be proposed.
L'analyse expérimentale des paramtres dynamiques du rail grille
Podolník, Adam ; Tomandl, Vladimír (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
In terms of deciding on the appropriate use of the railway superstructure assemblies in both the recommendations arising from the theoretical analysis (modeling), as well as recommendations obtained under static and dynamic testing of the finished product play an important role. Such tests can then be applied in the laboratory or in the field. The thesis will be devoted to operational testing of selected track grid structures in situ. For measurement purposes an appropriate measuring point will be chosen and the methodology of measurement will be proposed. In terms of track geometry sections in curves will be selected. On the basis of tests carried out dynamic parameters of structures will be determined. To their evaluation suitable mathematical system will be chosen. It assumes the use of mathematical methods in time and frequency areas. In the thesis there will also be a comparison of the parameters of the tested structures. Based on the measurements it will be a source of recommendations for the practice.
Evaluation of the rail pad stiffness
Šardická, Klára ; Pazdera, Luboš (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
Rail pads are part of baseplate and baseplateless fastening system. It is a flexible element that is used primarily to reduce the negative effects of dynamic stress, reduce noise and vibration. This thesis deals with laboratory measurement of low-frequency dynamic stiffness at 5 Hz, static stiffness according to ČSN and static stiffness according to OTP of rail pads. The aim is to carry out and evaluate the measurements of samples supplied by different manufacturers and to compare them according to the variance of the resulting stiffnesses. Evaluate the stiffness of used rubber pads and compare with the results of new samples. Further, this thesis deals with the factors that the measurement itself and its results could influence.
Analysis of selected methods for setting and measuring the spatial position of track
Karásek, Jakub ; Vukušič, Ivan (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of the work is to compare different ways of measuring geometric parametrs of railway track and compare methods for guidance automatic tamping machine in estabilishing the geometrical parameters of the selected track section between train stations Brodek u Přerova - Grygov. The work contains a description of the superstructure gauging carriage and measuring system APK, whose data were used to compare the track geometry and its spatial position during the observation period. Conclusion of the work includes an assessement of individual measurements and recommendations for practise.

Analysis of acoustic and vibration parameters from rail transport
Turčíková, Hana ; Tomandl, Vladimír (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on operational testing of selected railway lines with different structures of superstructure. For the measurement purposes suitable measuring sections in directional curves on the rail corridors were chosen and suitable measuring methodology was designed. Based on all the tests the dynamic and acoustic parameters of tested structures were determined. For the test evaluations suitable mathematic methods in both time and frequency zone was chosen. Part of my work is also to compare the parameters of the tested structures and to make recommendations for practise.

Prokopová, Tereza ; Pazdera, Luboš (referee) ; Smutný, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on issues with evaluations of the effects of noises from tram transport. The part of the thesis is analysis of those issues, acquisition of data in locality Starý Lískovec tram loop; follow editing data and compilation of acoustic model. I’ll do the assessment results by compilation of acoustic situation in program SoundPlan. Last part of bachelor’s thesis is formulation of conclusions and recommendations for practice.
