The aim of this thesis was to analyze the drug administration by nurses to the patients hospitalized in four hospitals in the South Bohemian region. Methods: The data for this observational-interventional study were collected from June to August 2021 in four hospitals (surgical department, internal medicine department, aftercare department), during three consecutive days in each department.The data were collected by a trained team consisting of a pharmacist and a nurse using direct observation. The following parameters were observed: information about the patient (e.g. gender, age, pharmacotherapy), information about the nurse (e.g. gender, education, length of practice), data related to drug administration (e.g. hygiene, patient identification, the right drug, the right patient, the right strength, the right dose, the right time, handling the medicine, the drink used to take the drug, drug administration in relation to food). The Usage of Art-philetics in Couple Communication

The diploma thesis deals with art-philetics with a focus on the process of couple communication. Art-philetics is a developing field with a relatively stable theoretical foundation. However, no one has so far studied the usage of art-philetics in couple communication. This topic deserves to be paid due attention, since couple relationships are the foundation for a stable family system and also present a model for children - our future generation. Communication is one of the most fundamental tools for having a satisfying relationship. The objective of the thesis is to explore and analyse the processes that facilitate communication. The underlying research also examines the following hypothesis: art-philetics, with a special focus on communication, can be applied when working with couples. The target group is married couples with children. In order to achieve my the desired goal, a detailed project of a qualitative research in the form of two case studies has been devised. Data come from observation, discussions and reflections, and are then analysed. The results are verified using a questionnaire collecting the subjective views of the couples. The theoretical part characterizes the issue of substance abuse by young people, outlines the drug policy in the Czech Republic, including mention of substance use prevention.

The harmonization of family and work life in the Czech Republic compared with Sweden and Greece

The aim of this thesis is to analyse conditions for the harmonization of family and work life in the Czech Republic compared with Sweden and Greece. These countries were chosen due to their different attitudes regarding the distribution of roles within the household and in the labour market. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part, which focuses on the definition of terms, the labour market and the family in the context of the European Union, but especially in the Czech Republic. The analytical part concentrates on concrete indicators and their development over time according to the Eurostat database since the Czech Republic joined the EU and up to the present time in all countries studied. This part focuses on indicators of fertility, economic activity, employment and unemployment and the use of formal childcare. The thesis follows up part- time jobs, which are very important from the point of view of this thesis.
