Diploma work deals with the opportunities of using the games at teaching of ecochemistry at the primary school. The method of game is described generally in the work including the system of curriculum documents. The compiled summary of the education games with the ecochemistry themes is introduced in the experimental part of the work. Effectiveness the games has been verified by practised investigation and its results ratified hypothesis that by means of games we can achieve more affictive and longer results with ecochemistry teaching. This summary can be used by teachers as the inspiration for not only chemistry lessons activities. Developing scientific literacy in pre-primary education through environmental themes
Štáhlová, Kateřina ; Janoušková, Svatava (advisor) ; Pumpr, Václav (referee)
1 Abstract Thesis Woods as an educational space? examines using quantitative methods the differences between children in ordinary kindergartens and forest kindergartens, and it does so according to formation of individual components of scientific literacy or knowledge of selected terms (concepts) in its empirical part. For this purpose it creates evaluation model of scientific literacy of preschool children (didactic test) based on the example of processing a particular topic - Forest. From the perspective of developmental psychology are furthemore described cognitive developmental characteristics of preschool age in their basic level. This part also focuses on strategic documents of (permanent) sustainable development. The thesis gives a first interesting insight into the problem and reveals a serious facts such as that children from ordinary kindergartens confuse natural objects under artificial objects also are less oriented in inanimate components, than the children of the forest kindergartens. Model of creating motivational items for use in non-chemical vocational schools
Rusek, Martin ; Pumpr, Václav (advisor) ; Dušek, Bohuslav (referee)
TITLE: Model of creating motivational items for use in non-chemical vocational schools SUMMARY: Presently, there have been significant reforms in the field of education in progress in the Czech Republic. Among others, formerly valid educational standards are being replaced by new standards - Framework Educational Programmes. They have also become effective for secondary schools since 1st September 2009. One of the changes is an addition of science based subjects (thus also chemistry) to all the framework educational programmes for every field of study in vocational schools. Hence, the number of pupils who will be taught science has grown comparing to the previous years. As it was confirmed by an inquiry made for the purposes of this thesis, the above mentioned group of pupils represents the majority among pupils in secondary schools. It was important to analyze the learning environment at non-chemical vocational schools, in order to support as effective utilization of learning units assigned for this schools as possible. For this purpose, there were several surveys run. Out of the results, it is possible to imply that the learning environments at non-chemical vocational schools and grammar schools are very different. Therefore it is important to perform the chemistry based education at non-chemical...
Text-books and Methods for their Evaluation
