Survey medical nurses' and midwives' interest in further education

This Bachelor theses is intended to survey medical nurses' and midwives' interest in further education. Its theoretical part is aimed at the concept of motivation, learning and its self-regulation, memory and its strategy is focused on as well. It gives an account of both the will and attitude towards carrying out duties. Self-motivation bears important meaning in the thesis as well as the notion of learning from psychological aspect. The empiric basis of the Bachelor thesis lies in evaluating quantitative survey through questionnaires to find out nurses' and midwives' interest in further education. The surveyed sample comprises medical nurses and midwives of five health institutions in the Czech Republic.

Survey of how much the parents are informed about injury prevention of toddlers

This bachelor's research thesis is focused on the toddlers' injuries and their prevention. The main goal of this research is to find out if parents are informed about injury prevention at this particular stage of the child's life. The work stresses the seriousness of this topic. This work is based on statistical data from childhood injuries. The main part of this work is a survey of the circumstances of children's injury prevention. The research sample consists of parents in the Hradec Králové area who have children between the ages of one and three. The research survey took place over a seven month period.

The impact of infertility on the quality of life of infertile couples

This bachelor's thesis outlines existing information on the topic of infertility, defines the terms "infertility", "assisted reproduction", "quality of life" and "psychological aspect of the disease" in context with the unpleasant mental, physical, social and economic factors, that partake in the quality of couple's lives. It also summarizes the legal policies of this problem in the Czech Republic. The empirical part of this thesis was based on a survey, given mainly to clients of the center of reproduction Pronatal Arleta IVF in Kostelec nad Orlici. This survey focused on the problems of infertility and its impact on the quality of life of infertile couples.

Informedness of high school students about contraception Bachelor thesis deals with the informedness of high school students about contraception. The thesis analyzes the types of contraception and describes it in detail incl. its history. Marginally it concerns induced abortion. It defines the conception of adolescence and contraception. For the surveyed samples of respondents have been chosen students of grammar schools who have been divided into two groups according to their age: a)completed 15 - 17 years and b) completed 18 - 20 years The results from both groups have been compared in tables and diagrams. The knowledge between girls and boys is compared in the second part of the research. Everything is once again compiled in tables and diagrams. The output of this thesis is a brief informed leaflet containing a comprehensive overview of contraception.

Annotatin The bachelor thesis deals with significance of nursing woman support and its influence on managing all problems during nursing and also on the total length of nursing a child. Theoretical part is aimed on specific support, provided by a lactation consultant, and it emphasizes advantages of providing lactation consultancy within home health care. Research part of the thesis is focused on recognition of managing specific problems during nursing after seeking help of a lactation consultant, and on general evaluation of this kind of care in Hradec Králové. This research was proceeded among clients of Site of Nursing Care in Hradec Králové.

56 My B.A. thesis entitled "The Problems of Nurses returning to Work after Maternity or Parental Leave" tries to map out the difficulties that nurses usually encounter during the process of returning to work. One of thesis's aims is to defne the nature of the problems facing nurses when returning to the work-place. What interested me was whether motherhood can influence the choice of work-place and what the chances are for the nurses to return to the same position at work. The related question that I examine is up to which point can the professional life be combined with the personal life and how can the nurses keep up with their futher education and qualification during their maternal or parental leave. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the family history, parenthood and motherhood, discrimination in the work-place and the options of care for a small child generally available. I also try to consider the factors influencing the return of women to their professions and the specific characteristics of the nursing professions. The empirical part of my thesis is presented as a piece of qualitative research, in which, on the basis of semi-structured dialogues with five correspondents, I try to describe the situation facing them after their return to work. Breastfeeding problems

This bachelor's work is treating of the fundamentals of correct breast feeding and it is adverting to appearance of the individual problems with breast feeding, their reasons and the prevention of their creation. The research part of this work was mainly turned to the findings of the level of awareness about the breast feeding. The research sample is composed of the women in childbed from the department of confinement in the teaching hospital Hradec Králové. The point of this research was refer to the influence of the insufficient informations on the creation of the problems with breast feeding.
