The area Most was mentioned for the first time in the 10th century. There were many monasteries, churches and other religious monuments founded. Most of them were destroyed during the 2nd half of the 20th century due to coal mining. This thesis is devoted to the history of the chosen religious monuments, particularly in the 2nd half of the 20th century, and also the current state of the religious monuments. Building development of the dean's church St. Bartholomew in Kolín nad Labem

Stavební dějiny děkanského chrámu sv. Bartoloměje jsou velmi pestré, u tak významné stavby tomu ani nemůže být jinak. Tato práce si kladla za cíl objasnit z nich - pokud možno - co nejvíce. Přesto zůstávají četná období z dějin chrámu téměř neznámá. Archivní prameny, vypovídající zejména o jeho raných dějinách, jsou velmi skrovné a vzhledem ke ztracené dokumentaci archeologického průzkumu z roku 1965 je dnes již málo pravděpodobné94 , že bychom se o prvním století existence chrámu dozvěděli něco zásadně nového. Také k vrcholně gotické fázi výstavby není příliš mnoho dobových pramenů; některé výzkumy z poslední dobl5 však ukazují, že rozhodně není nic ztraceno.
