První zmínky o lokalitě Mostecka pochází již z kronik 10. století. Ve městě vzniklo mnoho klášterů, kostelů a dalších sakrálních památek. Většina z nich však byla zlikvidována v průběhu 2. poloviny 20. století z důvodu těžby uhlí. Práce je věnována historii vybraných sakrálních památek převážně ve 2. polovině 20. století, a také současnému stavu církevních památek. There were many monasteries, churches and other religious monuments founded. Most of them were destroyed during the 2nd half of the 20th century due to coal mining. This thesis is devoted to the history of the chosen religious monuments, particularly in the 2nd half of the 20th century, and also the current state of the religious monuments.
