Church in Panenský Týnec - outline to the building technology
PAVLÍČKOVÁ, Anna
The theme of my work is an object of unfinished monastery church in Panenský Týnec. It is a building whose current status is suitable for initial familiarization with building technologies medieval sacral architecture, as it has exposed brickwork and visible traces of the course and the way of construction. I will deal with the masonry structure and its changes in various stages of construction. In my work I focus also on some unclear points and special elements in the walls, which could be a remnant of the construction process. Similar research is also an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue, because I will be in collaboration with geologists and try to determine the area of origin of building stone or concrete quarry where the material was obtained.
