The state of Czech mobile internet and the safety of its use by mobile information technologies

This work describes the state of the Czech mobile internet connectivity market and security aspects in his use by mobile information technologies. The main aim of this work is to alalyze and compares technologies and tariffs offered by Czech mobile internet providers. The second aim is the definition of the main security threads to mobile internet access from the technological point of view and from the user perspective and an introduction of prevention and defence against these threats. The objectives will be achieved primary by searching and processing information from the internet sources also by using my own experiences and experiences of users of mobile internet connections. The contribution of this work is in the complete record about the state of mobile internet in the Czech Republic and about aspects of its safety and its possible use.
Analysis and comparison of BI tools from Microsoft and Oracle

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the global market with Business Intelligence, recognize the most significant companies running a business in this area and try to estimate the future trends and development of the market and then to analyze BI tools of two important companies on the market, Microsoft and Oracle. Analysis and comparison of these tools will be done according to specified metrics, which will focus on both technological and business features of the tools. The main contribution should be complex comparison of quality of tools from two big competitors on the market.
Business Intelligence for Insurance

The thesis focuses on the application of Business Intelligence technologies in the insurance area, aiming concretely at their use in insurance companies. The aim is to introduce and summarize the various processes and information needs that are part of an insurance company and the ways that business intelligence tools can support and improve those processes. To achieve this goal I describe and present the internal functioning of the main processes in insurance companies emphasizing on data examples and the concrete use of BI. Furthermore, I point out two specific examples of Business Intelligence products, which are built and are aimed for the insurance industry. Specifically, I review InsFocus Business Intelligence product from InsFocus Insurance and SAS Business Intelligence from SAS. These two products are reviewed in terms of architecture, functionality and implementation process. At the end of the thesis, I've created a theoretical analysis for a Business Intelligence implementation in a fictitious insurance company. The benefit of this work is to present a comprehensive look at the advantages of Business Intelligence for insurance companies, at some specific products which relate to BI and insurance, and a look at the way that an analysis for a BI insurance solution is made.
Types of eshops and promotion on the internet

Paper deals with the currently available solutions, online stores or eshops and shows the possibility of promoting them on the Internet. The first part focuses on different types of solutions of eshops and tries to emphasize their individual advantages and disadvantages, and functionality. Next part focuses on the promotion on the Internet itself and explains the key concepts and tools such as SEM, SEO, PPC, copywriting, banner, affiliate, and others that can be used to promote the eshop. For completeness there are given the less-used tools as Advergaming, video ads and more. The last part is devoted to future developments in the eshops and their possible promotion. There are also described possible trends, methods and technologies that are most likely to be used in the next few years. The work also includes some recommendations based on personal and practical experience in this area. These recommendations can not be taken as face value, but you it can be used as guidelines.
Security policy of small organization

This bachelor work deals with IT security solutions in small and midsized companies. Author's goal is to familiarise the reader with this problem without unnecessary technical details. Author also would like to syntesize "management" view and "expert" view, because all available publications focus only on one of these views. Work is divided into chapters that correspond to main domains, which reader should explore.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem mobilního připojení k internetu v České republice, zaměřuje se zejména na připojení vysokorychlostní. Cílém práce je umožnit čtenáři vytvořit si ucelenou představu o službách nabízených mobilními operátory, technologiích které využívají a usnadnit mu výběr vhodného mobilního připojení. První část tvoří popis technologií včetně jejich kladů a záporů, druhá část analyzuje situaci na trhu mobilního připojení a třetí se zabývá budoucím vývojem v této oblasti.
