Consumer on the insurance market

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to identify consumer in the insurance market, to assess the factors that influence the formation of its behaviour and other determinants which influ-ence its actual insurance need. This work is focused exclusively on the Czech insurance market. A total of 106 people responded to my online questionnaire. It was surveyed that life insurance is influenced by age, the highest level of education and whether the person has a partner or husband/wife. Property and income is important factor to the non-life insurance. It can be concluded that there is still great potential for new contract and the fact that costumers prefer personal communication when negotiating longer-term contracts.

Insurance of tour operators

This bachelor thesis deals with insurance of tour operators. At the beginning are characterized differences between tour operators and travel agents that have to be distinguished for this insurance product. The second chapter focuses on development of tour operators insurance in the Czech Republic. There is described the legislative process of the law 159/1999 Sb and its amendment about some conditions of entrepreneurship in the field of tourism. There are also specified conditions for gaining and sustaining guarantee insurance in case of tour operator bankruptcy. A part of the chapter is devoted to the bank guarantee and the state supervision. The next chapter provides an overview of insurance companies that offer this type of insurance. Last two chapters are more practical. One of them analyses the amendment of the law 159/1999 Sb. issued on 1 January 2016. There are summarized reasons of this amendment and comparison of the law before and after the amendment. The other practical chapter describes the reasons of bankruptcy of tour operator called Marine Tour and the procedure in case of tour operator bankruptcy. The conclusion summarizes recommendations for a selection of a suitable tour operator.

Car insurance on the Czech insurance market

The First part of this bachelor thesis is theoretically focused on car insurance, especially AmE property damage liability and accident insurance. The character of these two insurance is further developed in parts of the legislation, insurance contract, insurance terms and conditions and the factors affecting the price of insurance. In the chapter about accident insurance is an emphasis on exclusions from insurance payout, additional GAP insurance and benefits from connecting both insurance under one insurance company. Additional information is summarized in chapter about additional insurance, assistance services and about the system called bonus/malus. The obtained theoretical knowledge is used to compare the insurance products of three selected insurance company. This comparison can be considered as an investigator in a decision making process.

The aim of the thesis The role of independent loss adjusters in the insurance market is to analyze various situations and cases, that the independent loss adjusters during their praxis solve, and clarify procedures, including calculations of insurance settlement. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the specifics of the insurance and technical reserves. Thesis also describes job content of the independent loss adjusters including all the aspects, that are associated with it. The practical part deals with real situations with fictitious names and data.

Insurance of travel agencies on the Czech insurance market

This diploma thesis focuses on insurance against failure of travel agencies, more precisely on the problems aroused on the Czech insurance market. The main problem is a gap in the law 159/1999 Coll., which should be amended in the future. However, this thesis should highlight these problems, assess them and find a sufficient solution to them, or eventually, find someone responsible for this situation. Shortcomings are investigated from several perspectives - from the point of view of the travel agencies, insurance companies, Ministry of Regional Development as well as from the point of view of the clients of these travel agencies.

The diploma Selected problems of the reinsurance market and their solutions shows the development of the insurance and reinsurance markets in recent years, especially in the last two decades. The diploma deals with changes in the actual situation, describes the classic forms of risk transfers, introduces alternative instruments as possible solution. The diploma also describes the principle multi financing system, which can be an effective solution in the reinsurance market.

Analysis of motor vehicle insurance

Bachelor thesis in the first three chapters dealing with accident insurance from a theoretical point of view. It is a voluntary insurance, to whom it is addressed, what it is, what are its characteristics, such risks can protect and against whom not vice versa, how is the non-life insurance premiums calculated and what factors affect the amount specifically for accident insurance, all this have been the subject of my interest. In the end, I focused on practical research of financial market in the Czech Republic. Of all insurance companies offering accident insurance I was limited to the four largest and their financial products was analyzed. I wondered how it changes not only the price (the premium amount) for individual insurance companies, but also other conditions and services that are provided to clients.

The analysis of debit cards

The aim of my bachelor thesis: "The analysis of debit cards" is to assess debit cards that are offered by six Czech banks and to choose the best debit card. The first part is about cards in general, about their pros and cons and also about their diversification. In the second part there is a history of cards and also a history of debit cards in the Czech Republic. The third part is the analysis of debit cards in the Czech market. In the last part there is an assessment of the most beneficial debit card. In my work the methods of analysis and comparison have been used.

Insurance of employment agencies on the Czech insurance market

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe the insurance of employment agencies against bankruptcy, reasons for its implementation and its development since 2011. The first part deals with characteristics of employment agencies, which are getting more and more attention in the Czech Republic. It focuses on specific features of its activity compared with other business entities and explains the essence of agency employment. The second part focuses on guarantee insurance. It describes general characteristic of guarantee insurance and specific kinds of this insurance product, which we can find on the Czech insurance market. It distinguishes the voluntary and obligatory guarantee insurance. There are two kinds of obligatory guarantee insurance on the Czech insurance market -- insurance of employment agencies against bankruptcy and insurance of travel agencies against bankruptcy, which exist here since 2000.

The main aim is to give a complex view on this specific subject on the insurance and reinsurance market, its history and market position. The work also contains a description of structure of the market, Corporation and capital, an overview of laws that involve Lloyd's market and also plans to expand its scope. Part of the work is focused on the development of a regulatory system in United Kingdom, the European Union and their impact on the market.
