Jewel of the Bronze Age in South Bohemia: typo-chronological analysis, finding contexts, social context

The aim of the diploma thesis is to provide comprehensive overview of the typological representation of jewellery from the Bronze Age in South Bohemia and try to analyse their structural representation in the finding context during the observed period. In the research part, the general definition of jewellery can be found. In the methodological part, the work futher focuses on descriptors. Based on that the critical analysis of the analysed assemblages is carried out. In the practical part, the hypothesis of possible deposition and traces of use is verified on a selected example of several annular jewels. Items from hoard and burial components are comperaed. Finally a syntesis of the acquired results is presented.

HPLC Method for Simultaneous Determination of Liposolubile Vitamines A, D and E

In this work the new HLPC method for simultaneous determination of vitamins D2, D3 and metabolite 25(OH)D3, vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin E (_-tocopherol) using the internal standard was developed. During the suggested assessment the monolith column Chromolith Performance RP-18e, 100 x 4,6 mm and Chromolith Performance RP-18e, 50 x 4,6 mm were used. The detection was carried out with the help of a diode array detector at wavelenght 264 nm for vitamins D2, D3 and metabolite 25(OH)D3, 295 nm for _-tocopherol and the internal standard tocol and 325 nm for retinol. The mixture of methanol : water : 2- propanol (75 : 15 : 10, v/v) was used as the mobile phase A in time 0,0-3,0 minutes. As the mobil phase B the mixture of methanol : water (95 : 5, v/v) was used in flow rate 3,5 ml/min in time 3,0-6,5 minutes. The injection volume of the sample was 20 μl. The total time of the analysis was 6,5 minutes including the equilibration of the column. This method was developed and partially validate. With the method will be continue on biological material.

Social Work in Home Hospice Care Cesta domů, z. ú.

This diploma thesis is focused on social work in home hospice care. The aim of the thesis is to map and describe the specifics of social work in particular mobile hospice organization Cesta domů, z. ú.. First, a palliative and hospice care is defined in the thesis with respect to current situation in the Czech republic. In the following part I define the needs of a dying person in home care. I also discuss potential sources of financial support for the families. Part of the thesis contains investigation based on interviews with social workers from organization Cesta domů, z .ú.

Main events happened in Plzeň in 1989 and their reflection in the local daily Pravda

This diploma thesis strives to find an answer to the question of how the regional daily paper Pravda published by the West-Bohemian Regional Committee of KSČ in Pilsen informed about the principal events of the year 1989, namely the series of January demonstrations in the centre of Prague later called "Palach Week", about the Several Sentences Petition published in the midyear by Charter 77, about the demonstrations organized on the occasions of the 21 August 1968 and 28 October 1918 anniversaries, and about the "Velvet Revolution" that put an end to the more than 40-year reign of the Communist Party (KSČ) in Czechoslovakia. The thesis also ascertains to what extent the information provided by Pravda was distorted by the regime propaganda, and compares the approach of this daily paper to informing about the principal 1989 events with that of the central KSČ daily Rudé právo. The diploma thesis also describes the way of how the West-Bohemian Regional Committee of KSČ in Pilsen assessed the development of the political situation in the country in the year 1989 and how it controlled the Pravda daily paper. Chateau Vimperk. Construction modifications and decoration under Joachim Novohradský of Kolowrat

Latest discoveries at the Vimperk Chateau bring the matter of constructional history up to date. This bachelor thesis focuses on the matter of constructional history and the decoration of the chateau, which is held by the aristocratic family of the Novohradský House of Kolowraty, at the beginning of the 17th century. The emphasis is primarily placed on Joachim Novohradský of Kolowraty who most likely ordered a large number of late Renaissance construction modifications for the Vimperk Chateau. The attention is also paid to ceiling and wall decorations of high quality in the premises of both the Upper and Lower Chateau. A significant part of this bachelor thesis includes the interpretation of fresco decorations in the Renaissance hall which is situated in the premises of the Lower Chateau. However, it should be noted that this section is conceived only hypothetically, since the surveyed area is currently uncovered insufficiently for iconographic analysis of its decorations to be conducted. It will not be possible to acquire valid conclusions until restoration works are completed.

Druhá část je zaměřena na jednu ze specifických forem prodeje - na přímý prodej a jednotlivé výhody a nevýhody, které jsou s ním spojeny. A poslední, třetí část, je věnována konkrétní firmě, která se tímto způsobem prodeje zabývá - firmě Avon.
