Topical issues of EU copyright law: transformation of law in the information society

Title of the thesis: Current issues of the copyright of the EU: transformation of the copyright in the information society The aim of this master's thesis is to analyse the current issues of the copyright of the EU and identify possible future trends, which should find their way to the upcoming third wave of harmonisation by European Commission. Therefore the master's thesis is based on the analysis of the issues identified for the revision of European copyright by European Commission itself in the recent public consultation. The issues were analysed in three steps to attend the aim. Firstly, the scope of identified issues for revision of the law is analysed. It was assumed, that the issues presented by Commission are requesting legislative action because of the lack of applicable solutions or due to high rate of legal uncertainty. Secondly, the current state of European copyright in issues was tested for striking the fair balance of stakeholder in the light of the utilitarian theory of copyright. Based on the previous two steps, possible future trends recommendable for the revision of the European Copyright were identified. Čeští expatriati v Číně - faktory úspěchu

Contributing to the available literature on the cross-cultural management between China and the Czech Republic, this thesis is examining the factors influencing the performance and success of Czechs working and living in China. It firstly defines the cultural settings of China and the Czech Republic, their key aspects and cultural specifics. Secondly, it describes the desired qualities of a successful expatriate - the so called global mindset. Thirdly, the thesis focuses on the specifics of working in China and on the potential culture shock a Czech expatriate is likely to face after relocating there. In the practical part of the thesis, the methods and results of an original primary field research conducted among more than 30 Czech expatriates in China are outlined. Using correlations and content analysis, the final results are drawn and the prior hypotheses either confirmed or disproved. The summary of the thesis offers then a set of recommendations for an expatriate-to-be who is coming to China - an ancient land surrounded by mysteries even in our modern times.

The european governance of financial crisis

This work is focused on the issue of system of European economic governance in the context of financial crisis. The European Union and its processes as social phenomenon are difficult to grasp even today. In this case broad attention is given by political scientists to the concept of governance. But no system of governance is static. It changes under the influence of various social phenomena. No doubt one of them is financial crisis. So financial crisis should have influence on forming and reforming of the European system of governance, what should be proved by this work. The description of political and economic measures taken against financial crisis is the heart of the work. The circumstances of the origin and transmission of financial crisis are specified too. It is assumed that financial crisis put the political actors under pressure to reform the system of European governance. In conclusion of this work the transformation of system of governance in the EU and its probable future development are discussed.

Analýza sortimentu společnosti Hügli Food s.r.o.

Bakalářská práce analyzuje sortiment české společnosti podnikající v potravinářském průmyslu. Popisuje charakteristiky produktových řad a vlastnosti konkrétních produktů. Hodnotí silné stránky a slabiny sortimentu a navrhuje možnosti k odstranění těchto slabin. Práce dále ukazuje na nové možnosti a příležitosti pro sortiment společnosti a na to, jak je může společnost využít. Práce se věnuje také tzv. privátním značkám, které jsou významnou součástí analyzovaného sortimentu a u nichž lze očekávat v oblasti střední Evropy v budoucnu další rozvoj.
