The position of social workers at the Labor Office - Material Emergency Department

The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part which focuses on the Job Centre, the definition of basic concepts, services and activities of the Job Centre and its structure, material need benefits and the social workers concentrating on the material need agenda. The second part deals with the research and describes the research strategy and other relevant aspects of the research. The crucial point of the thesis is to describe the position of the social worker in the Department of Material Needs when working with clients. The main objective is to describe 'What is the experience of social workers with their position in the Department of Material Need when working with clients?'. The thesis takes into account the work of a social worker in the Department of Material Needs and what they have to deal with in the position. The thesis also focuses on how the social worker carries out the material hardship benefits agenda. As for the research method, we used qualitative research with the IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis) method, a qualitative approach and Exploratory Coding. Types of social services provided to physically and mentally disabled persons by evangelical churches in the territory of the czech republic

The bachelor's thesis deals with the types of social services for physically and mentally disabled persons provided by the Evangelical Church in the territory of the Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to map these services and thus enable an insight into the operation of daily and weekly care centre facilities, as the main providers of these services, their clients and the workload of their workers and managers. At the same time, it also focuses on the evangelical church as the operator, its history and also the geography of the care centre facilities in the Czech Republic. In the practical part of the thesis, in the form of a quantitative research strategy, three guardians determine their satisfaction with the facility and the staff of the Na palubě care facility and the benefit of the facility to their loved ones.
Support provided by a social worker in the treatment of children with eating disorders

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the eating disorders in context of social work. The aim of this work is to analyze the support of social workers who are in contact with children having an eating disorder. The whole thesis is divided theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic definition of eating disorder and its division together with risk factors which can worsen the decease. In the following section there is presented social work and its applications when dealing with problem of eating disorder and the role of a social worker. The child's social functioning can be disrupted by an unexpected situation in a form of eating disorder, hence judging the health status by a social worker must be done to obtain needed results used for choosing appropriate intervention and the treatment. The second last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to possible treatments. Finally, there is presented a list of institutions dealing with disorders in the Czech Republic. Competences of Social Workers in Social Services in the Social Activation Service for Families with Children

7 Abstract The diploma thesis examines the topic of competences of both social workers (SW) and workers in social services (WSS) in the social activation service for families (SASFC) with children in the district of Chomutov. It aims to describe the legal competences of SASFC workers and subsequently to check the actual practice in the field of competences of SASFC workers. The theoretical part of the thesis defines social workers and workers in social services mainly according to the Act on Social Services. The second chapter then defines SASFC and further defines the concept of family from the point of view of typology and functions. The chapter also presents the possibilities of social work with the family and maps the services of the SASFC in the Chomutov district. The last chapter defines the concept of competence and lists the professional qualification prerequisites for SW and WSS based on the Social Services Act. The practical part of the thesis presents the research goal and used methodology. The methodology of respondent selection and data collection is described. The Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic to the Work of Social Workers in Homes for the Users with Disability

This diploma thesis addresses the measures issued in connection with the covid-19 pandemic in relation to social work in homes for users with the disability. The aim was to map the impact of anti-epidemic measures on the performance of the profession of social workers in this type of social service. The evaluation was based on the analysis of anti-epidemic measures, a questionnaire survey and interviews. The result of the research is a set of specific impacts of measures on the performance of the profession of social workers in homes for users with disabilities.

The diploma thesis called The issue of confidentality and notification obligation in the low-threshold center for children and youth and in the authority of social and legal protection of the children deals with the conflict of mandatory confidentiality and notification obligation and its resolution. Respectively by looking at the issue by individual social workers in various social institutions. These are social workers from low- threshold centers for children and youth and social workers from authorities for social and legal protection of children. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and an empirical part. The whole work contains ten chapters and subchapters. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out whether social workers in low- threshold centers for children and youth and in authorities for social and legal protection for children resolve the conflict of mandatory confidentiality and notification obligation by a more ethical or legal point of view.
