Patch antenna array for IFF band
Mička, Josef ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with designing and implementing an antenna array for the IFF band. The design includes an antenna element simulation and a feeding network design for the antenna array. The antenna element is designed as broadband and has an SWR of less than 1.5 in each band. Two stacked patches are used to achieve the required bandwidth. The patches are fed through a slot. An asymmetric stripline line is used for the feeding network. The simulated antenna array shows good impedance matching and gain properties. The final part of the master thesis compares the measured results with the simulated results. Finally, an attempt is made to improve the SWR of the manufactured antenna array.

Wideband 6GHz RF Signal Generator
Mička, Josef ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is a design of a wideband high frequency generator with an adjustable output amplitude. The generator is based on a frequency synthesizer ADF4355. The power level of an output signal is adjustable by an attenuator HMC1119. The created generator is accesisible trough an user-friendly control panel or by SCPI commands. Frequency synthesis can run in an integer mode or a fractional mode. The output signal has a very low phase noise when it is running in the integer mode.

Application for Text Summarization
Mička, Jakub ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is focused on an implementation a web application, which is a tool for automatic English text summarization. In result, automatic text summarization is made by TextRank and Latent semantic analysis method. Both of these methods are improved by named entity recognition. The main benefit of this work is proving that using the named entity recognition with Latent semantic analysis and especially with TextRank method leads to creation of higher quality summaries. This quality of the summaries was verified by ROUGE metrics.

The fatigue life of steel specimens under axial, torsional and combined axial-torsional loading
Mička, Jan ; Horníková, Jana (referee) ; Slámečka, Karel (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the fatigue life prediction under multiaxial cyclic loading. First, the fatigue process is discussed and the methods for fatigue life prediction under uniaxial and multiaxial loading are described. In the practical part, the accuracy of selected criteria is assessed based on experimental data obtained on cylindrical samples made of 1.2210 steel that were tested under synchronous symmetric axial-torsion loading. Application of criteria requires to determine the fatigue strength under pure axial and torsional loading.

A patch antenna array for IFF band
Mička, J. ; Láčík, J. ; Martinec, M.
This paper describes a design of an antenna array for the IFF band. The array consists of four antenna elements arranged as a 2 × 2 matrix. A single antenna is designed as two stacked patches, fed by a slot. The feeding network is designed as an asymmetric stripline. Simulations of the proposed antenna array give good simulation results especially VSWR lower than 1.5.
