Model for energy control from solar panel
Hromek, Jiří ; Dvořáček, Martin (referee) ; Malounek, Petr (advisor)
This is specifies problems of electricity development from the sun. It informs about the principles and especially means of optimizing of extracting maximum. There is created a prototype in the Matlab/Simulink environment representing a source of radiation and a solar panel. A prototype output is an extracted voltage for a different angles of panel tilt compared to a light source and a different lighting intensity. A prototype is practically realized then. Then there is devised a procedure of prototype for a maximum voltage extracting from solar panels. A prototype is liable to connect to the programmable controller of B&R company.

Basic knowledge of programmable automat's, description of visualization program to control technological process to Power Panel 4PP480.1043 – 75 by B&R company. Document learn something about custom interface, operating controls of application and learn about important algorithms, which are used in application. Document shortly describe development system Automation Studio 3.0.71.
Comparative study of discrete PSD controllers
Pelikán, Radek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor's thesis was verification and comparison of heterogenous structures of discrete PSD controllers. First thing mentioned is method of converting continuous PID controllers to discrete PSD controllers. After that I described basic types and structures of discrete controllers. I verified the controllers using computer simulation and control of real systems. I described integral criteria of regulation quality and tried setting of controllers using Ziegler-Nichols method and on ITAE criterion minimum. I mainly focused at classic PSD controller and PSD controllers with filtration of derivative component in old and new design. All controllers were compared.
Heating System Regulation with the Utilization of Renewable Resource
Duda, Pavel ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
This paper addresses the simulation of the heating system, heating and hot water smart house using ATMEL microprocessor company. As a primary source of heat energy is solar collector, which is accompanied by a gas boiler and hot water through the fireplace. It is also an analysis of methods of regulation of the heating system.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Pitra, Michal ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on an adaptive control, especially in a self-tuning controller area. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with identification methods of the adaptive control. The recursive least squares algorithm and the neural network method are the most popular identification methods. These methods are contrasted and the identification quality evaluation is done. The second part compares various types of the adaptive controllers with a non-adjustable PSD controller. The adaptive controllers are investigated from the various identification method point of view. The user graphic interface was realized for the identification and regulatory part. The time behavior of system responses after incoming disturbance and dynamic process changes during simulation systems control is compared with a physical model connected to B&R PLC. The comparison is done with the application of Matlab/Simulink program.
Petri nets Visualization on Power Panel
Krechler, Michal ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
KRECHLER, M. Petri nets visualization on Power Panel. Brno: VUT in Brno,Faculty of electrical engineering and communication, 2009. 75 p. Supervisor Ing. Luděk Chomát. In bachelor's thesis is solved Petri nets problems in simulation of industrial process. Is oriented on use functions of Automation Studio 3.0 in dynamically creating Petri nets on display of Power Panel. Is created several Petri nets for controling models.
Model of electric furnance for heat-resistant material processing
Franek, Lešek ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Dvořáček, Martin (advisor)
Content of the document is to create model of kiln, compare result with the real kiln. There is described 3D design in SolidWorks application, creation of a physical model in COMSOL Multiphysics and its export to Simulink. Subsequently is described the Simulink scheme, functions of program parts and visualization in B&R Automation Studio. The obtained results are compared with measured values. There is also described the design of a controller with a off-line identification.
Model Of Solar Heating in Outdoor Swimming Pool
Bartoň, Martin ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
This work deals with modeling of the technological process of heating the outdoor swimming pool. In the theoretical part are given the necessary information for resolving the simulation of heating process. Based on the theoretical background is elaborated a mathematical model of swimming pool and the technological process. This model is programmed in ANSI C language and implemented into the microcontroller ATmega8. There is also a model of the whole problem in Matlab Simulink. The result of this work is practicum model, which simulates the technological process of swimming pool heating. This model is connected to PLC B&R in which is implemented regulation and visualisation of the technological process.
Conrol of synchronous drives
Mrtvý, Bohuslav ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The document describe servo drive by B&R and the control algorithms with vector control. There is also mathematic model of synchronous motor, design of control the system of two connected motor and implementation these algorithms in to the PLC and Acopos. The Master’s Thesis contains confrontation of results of real system and ideal model.
Multi-axis Engine Control in Intelligent House
Uherka, Bohumil ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis handles with multi-axis drives with electronic cam and electronic gear. Result of this project was to develop a model of entry gates and multi-axis drive control program. This issue was demonstrated on the entrance gate engines controlling the smart house. The model of entrance gates was constructed using a stepper engines. The model was connected by the input and output modules with Power Panel (programmable logic controller with touch screen), on which the visualization was created. Power Panel at the same time governed servoamplifiers ACOPOS. These servo amplifiers with synchronous engines correspond to engines controlling the actual gates.
