Mobile application for the analysis of the basic parameters of NGA network

Bachelor thesis focuses on measurement of quality of service within mobile networks. The thesis explains standards of mobile networks, quality of service, how achieve specified quality and measurement method. Then thesis explains server program for measuring multimedia data and mobile application for operating system Android, which can evaluate and show measured data. In the end there is shown measurement of testing data.

Battery powered wireless measuring system

Master thesis deals with concept and realization of wireless measuring system, powered by battery. The system consists of two main parts. First part, the node, is designed for the lowest possible power consumption. This is achieved mainly by usage of microcontroller from the STM32 family. Gathered information is transfered via RFM69 module. Second part, the gateway, is powered by Linux operating system on Raspberry Pi. Data from the gateway proxy are propagated through MQTT into Home Assistant, which interprets the results.

Buyer Power and its Abuse in European Law

This rigorosum thesis entitled "Buyer Power and its Abuse in European Law" deals with the analysis of buyer power in European law from the perspective of legal theory (part one - theoretical) and analysis of legislative aspects of the abuse (part two - practical). Attention is paid to the perspective of European law on the issue of buyer power and its abuse, both from the perspective of competition law and of the concept of buyer power, primarily pursuing objectives other than competition on the market. In my rigorosum thesis, I address the issue of market buyer power as a concept different from both market seller power and purchasing power, which refers to the extent to which consumers or firms have available money for spending and consumption. The concept of market power has in fact two branches - seller power and buyer power. In my thesis, I prove that (i) they cannot be viewed as a mirror image and (ii) that buyer power is an umbrella concept covering monopsony and bargaining power. Buyer power as the umbrella concept is a buyer's ability to exert pressure on its suppliers so as to lower prices or extract other concessions in two forms - monopsony and bargaining power. Social security and social services in the past and present

This Bachelor's thesis called "Social Security and Social Services in the Past and Present" focuses on the historical development as well as current state of social security system and social services. The social security system in the Czech Republic comprises of social insurance, state social support and social assistance. As a whole, the social security system serves as a protection and support for people in difficult life situations. The aim of the system is to eliminate or at least mitigate the consequences of such unfortunate life situations. The system achieves this mostly by providing various benefits and social services that are discussed separately in this thesis. Social services can be divided into social counselling, social care services and preventive social care services. The goal of this thesis was to describe the current social security system and social services in the Czech Republic and the historical evolution of the system. Next, the thesis also intended to analyse / evaluate the social security system in the historical context. The theoretical part explains the concepts of social security and social services, defines their purpose and describes the current system in the Czech Republic. The practical part concentrates on the history and development of Czech social security system and social services. In the practical part, I analysed the historical development of the social security system and social services in the Czech lands. Specifically, I focused on the so-called Taaffe's reforms in the late 19th century. Qualitative research was carried out based on 12 publications. In the context of the thesis's aim, one question was asked: How has the social security system and social services in the Czech lands developed over time?
