Bakalářská práce na téma "Systém sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb v historii a současnosti" se zabývá sociálním zabezpečením a sociálními službami z hlediska jejich historického vývoje i jejich současným stavem. Systém sociálního zabezpečení v České republice tvoří sociální pojištění, státní sociální podpora a sociální pomoc. Jako celek tvoří systém sociálního zabezpečení ochranu a podporu osobám v těžkých životních situacích. Jeho cílem je odstranit nebo alespoň zmírnit důsledky takových nepříznivých životních situací. Tohoto cíle dosahuje především poskytováním různých dávek a sociálních služeb, které jsou v této bakalářské práci zpracovány samostatně. Sociální služby se dělí na sociální poradenství, služby sociální péče a služby sociální prevence. Cílem této práce bylo popsat stávající systém sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb v České republice stejně jako dějinný vývoj systému a zároveň analyzovat/zhodnotit systém sociálního zabezpečení v čase. Teoretická část vysvětluje samotné pojmy sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb a co je jejich posláním a zároveň také popisuje jejich současnou podobu v České republice. Praktická část se zabývá otázkou, jak se vyvíjel systém sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb českých zemí v historii. V praktické části své práce jsem se zaměřil na analýzu historického vývoje systému sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb na území českých zemí především od konce 19. století, konkrétně od tzv. Taaffeho reformy. Byl proveden kvalitativní výzkum. Celkem bylo pro praktickou část použito 12 publikací. V souvislosti s cílem práce byla položena jediná otázka: Jak se vyvíjel systém sociálního zabezpečení a sociálních služeb českých zemí v historii? This Bachelor's thesis called "Social Security and Social Services in the Past and Present" focuses on the historical development as well as current state of social security system and social services. The social security system in the Czech Republic comprises of social insurance, state social support and social assistance. As a whole, the social security system serves as a protection and support for people in difficult life situations. The aim of the system is to eliminate or at least mitigate the consequences of such unfortunate life situations. The system achieves this mostly by providing various benefits and social services that are discussed separately in this thesis. Social services can be divided into social counselling, social care services and preventive social care services. The goal of this thesis was to describe the current social security system and social services in the Czech Republic and the historical evolution of the system. Next, the thesis also intended to analyse / evaluate the social security system in the historical context. The theoretical part explains the concepts of social security and social services, defines their purpose and describes the current system in the Czech Republic. The practical part concentrates on the history and development of Czech social security system and social services. In the practical part, I analysed the historical development of the social security system and social services in the Czech lands. Specifically, I focused on the so-called Taaffe's reforms in the late 19th century. Qualitative research was carried out based on 12 publications. In the context of the thesis's aim, one question was asked: How has the social security system and social services in the Czech lands developed over time?
