Machining of Ni80TiAl alloy detail
Kudrna, Miloš ; Novák, Zdeněk (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The master`s thesis deal with analysis of machining technology of the bolt from the superalloy Ni80TiAl for the company Sanborn a.s. The aim of the thesis is the project of new technology by usage of new tool, indexable inserts and cutting conditions. The results are speedup of the roughing operation, reduction of the manufacturing cost and the product price.
Black holes in string theory
Kudrna, Matěj ; Schnabl, Martin (advisor) ; Krtouš, Pavel (referee)
Recently it was shown by M. Guica, T. Hartman, W. Song and A. Strominger that the entropy of extreme Kerr black hole can be computed through a duality between the quantum gravity on the background of the Kerr black hole and the conformal field theory near the horizon. In our diploma work we have found a generalization of this procedure: we leave the near horizon geometry and we define our boundary conditions and the surface charges in the full spacetime on the horizon of the black hole, where the dual conformal field theory "lives". We use this procedure to rederive the entropy of extremal black holes and then we compute the entropy of general rotating black holes.
Level Truncation Approach to Open String Field Theory
Kudrna, Matěj ; Schnabl, Martin (advisor) ; Erler, Theodore (referee) ; Kishimoto, Isao (referee)
Given a D-brane background in string theory (or equivalently boundary conditions in a two dimensional conformal field theory), classical solutions of open string field theory equations of motion are conjectured to describe new D-brane backgrounds (boundary conditions). In this thesis we study these solutions in the bosonic open string field theory using the level truncation approach, which is a numerical approach where the string field is truncated to a finite number of degrees of freedom. We start with a review of the theoretical background and numerical methods which are needed in the level truncation approach and then we discuss solutions in several different back- grounds. First we discuss universal solutions, which do not depend on the open string back- ground, then we analyze solutions of the free boson theory compactified on a circle or on a torus, then marginal solutions in three different approaches and finally solutions in theories which in- clude the A-series of Virasoro minimal models. In addition to known D-branes, we find so-called exotic solutions which potentially describe yet unknown boundary states. 1
The analysis of the online marketing activities of the Music City e-shop
Rymeš, David ; Stříteský, Václav (advisor) ; Kudrna, Martin (referee)
The main objective of the thesis is to analyze existing online marketing activities of the Music City, one of the major retailers with the musical and audio equipment in the Czech Republic, and in context with the defined objectives, to evaluate a usage of the specific online marketing tools. The thesis deals with the evaluation of the web site, paid advertisement via search engines Google and Seznam, paid advertisement and marketing communication through the Facebook social network, both internal and external e-mailing as well as the cooperation with the e-commerce corporations, Heureka.cz and Zbozi.cz. Based on the analysis and findings, recommendations for streamlining of the marketing tools usage will be suggested.

The Analysis of logistic flows
Kudrna, Martin ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Bechyně, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyzes logistic flows. The text is divided into two main parts. The first one deals with the theoretical aspect of each cell in the entire logistics flow. The second one is focused on observations in a particular company and seeks to define various logistic processes.
Software licensing
KUDRNA, Michal
This work deals with ways and means of program licensing, shows examples of licensing in companies like Microsoft Corporation, Sun Microsystems and includes verification methods to observance these license rules.
