Operational study of the hospitality facility

The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to work out the operational study of the chosen hospitality facility. The other aims are to find out, how all parts in the facility work and how does restaurant La Degustation Bohéme Bourgeoise reached the succes. The study is devided into four chapters. The first chapter state a position of the problem in a literature. The second chapter is focused on the location and analyse the competition. Third part of the study concerns the operational procedures in the hospitality facility. The last chapter includes a summary and some proposals to improvement.
Logistics in catering and implementation of HACCP

The bachelor thesis describes the processes of logistics in a small company providing catering services and implementation of a method based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), which is recommended for the operaters of eating facilities. The HACCP certificate is internationally regarded and it can be a complement for ISO 9000 certificates. The thesis does not describe running complete HACCP system, but only a partial system based on HACCP and also necessary hygienic moves, which are mandatory for all the eating facilities.
Spa services for children and adolescents

Medical spa in the Czech Republic has a long tradition. Spa treatment of children and adolescents has its position in the therapeutic process and shows very good results for the chronically ill children. Several changes of the conditions for thermal treatment of children and adolescents have occurred in the Czech legislation. They might affect its future development. The aim of thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the Czech spa for children and adolescents, analyze its development in recent years, describe its main characteristics and to detect problems in Czech spa for children and adolescents. Spas for children and adolescents have been examined from the perspective of the balneologic institute, health Insurance, association of spas and from the perspective of parents of children. Balneologic institutes for children and adolescents will probably deal with problems in the next years and their further development will not be easy. Uneven capacity utilization, tightening of the rules for complex spa care, reducing length of stay, less repeated stays for some clients and the recent increase in regulatory fees will complicate the future of Czech spas for children and adolescents.

The work deals with possibilities of application of marketing techniques in the spa tourism and use of these methods in practice for a particular company. The theoretical part summarizes the application of marketing techniques in the field of tourism, especially the spa tourism. Practical work includes the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which was designed to determine satisfaction with services provided by spa company. At the end of the work, there are recommendations for changes in services and marketing of the company Spa Podebrady a.s.
