Use of current SW engineering techniques in the field of video games
Pavlásek, Jan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is primarily about creating a simple 2D game using modern aproaches for software development. Maze generation and pathfinding elements are build into the game. The first part of the thesis describes application development, maze generation and pathfinding. In the second part are these findings used to implement and compare individual algorithms. The following part is about implementation of selected algorithms into the simple 2D game.
Machine vision implementation in the UVSSR PORTABLE CELL production system
Gómez Rojas, José Luis ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis investigates the integration of computer vision into Industry 4.0, utilizing the UVSSR CELL at Brno University of Technology. Focused on enhancing virtual commissioning, it introduces three innovative vision techniques linked via an OPC server to an IoT gateway. Object recognition, hand gesture control, and facial recognition are employed, improving robotic arm operations and security protocols. This integration resulted in high accuracy trained model for object detection with mAP50-90 close to 0.9, and control precision of the technologies and the virtual environment, contributing significantly to smart industry automation and setting a call for future work on top of it. The thesis covers methodology, technological implementation, and prospects for advanced, efficient machine vision systems within industry 4.0.
Software solution for storing data from robotic 3D printing
Žalud, Štěpán ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a software solution for storing data from robotic 3D printing. The assignment is based on problems observed in the Voxell company. The theoretical part presents the issue and puts it in context within modern industry. Additionally, it introduces tools used for creating such services at a basic level. This is followed by a system analysis leading to the design of the solution's architecture. The practical part then discusses the selection of the database, the creation of individual services, and the deployment of the application on the Docker platform. Finally, the work is evaluated and a possible future direction of development is outlined.
Driver design for PROFINET bus coupler
Kroupa, Jiří ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The essence of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of driver for Profinet bus coupler from Phoenix Contact, which use computer's network card for communication. The proposal builds on the knowledge gained from available literature and analysis of Profinet protocol.
Range Extender Engines for Electric Cars
Kroupa, Jiří ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about range extender engines for electric cars with focusing primarily on piston combustion engines. In the first part, reasons for using range extender are indicated and the principle of use in powertrain of electric vehicle is explained. Requirements for a combustion engine working as range extender are stated with their impact on development parameters of this engine. The second part describes manufacturers with their range extenders. Three engines are described in detail with emphasis on development, technical parameters and operating strategy. Another range extenders with their basic parameters are mentioned too. Conclusion refers about benefits of using range extenders and their future development is estimated.
Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0
Kotas, Filip ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with search for artificial intelligence methods used in the diagnostics of technical systems. The first part of the work is devoted to the search of used methods in the field of diagnostics of technical systems. The second part summarizes the characteristics and applications of these methods. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the application of the artifical neural network method and the hybrid method „adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systém“, which is based on the neural network. This part deals with a detailed description and use of these methods in real technical systems.
Application of augmented reality in maintenance of production machines
Blaha, Jan ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the design of an augmented reality application for production machine maintenance. The thesis consists of two parts: the theoretical and the design part. The first part of the thesis summarizes the subject matter of augmented reality from a general point of view. It also includes an overview of leading manufacturers. The practical part of the thesis deals with application design. It contains the thought process from the database creation to the final prototype. Several possible solutions are listed, and the most suitable one is selected. The conclusion of the thesis contains a discussion of the results obtained, and practical recommendations for future uses.
Measurement and visualization of parameters in hydraulic circuits
Říman, Matěj ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with measurement and vizulation of the hydraulic circuits. First part of this work introduces a selected hyraulic task. Following chapters describe the possibilities of measuring hydraulic parameters, along with the principles of pressure sensors, flow and temperature. The following section describes measurement application in NI LabVIEW which is used to wiew and export relevant data related to measuring. The last chapter is an evaluation of the application, along with a demonstration and description of output measurement
Possibilities of noise measurement on machine tools and determine their source
Malušek, Pavel ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Kroupa, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with methods for sound source localization. It also analyzes types of microphones which are used for this purpose. There are detailed described the parameters of the microphones at first, principles of every method and their application in practice then. The aim of this thesis is application of these methods in determining the sound sources on machine tools and evaluation the advantages of individual methods for the specific purpose.
Technology of laser machining
Kroupa, Jiří ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on present possibilities of laser cutting. The first part describes basic principles of the laser beam, possibilities of ma-chining of various materials and its use in production. Various types of lasers are introduced, including those developed in the last decade. The performance and quality edge that the laser beam can give you is presented in the next part. The practical part compares laser machining with conventional technology of machining. Final results are evaluated in the last chapter.
