Patient quality of life with glaucoma

This thesis deals with the quality of life of patients with glaucoma. Its aim is to introduce professional and general public with difficulties and changes that these patients throughout their lives restricted. The theoretical part briefly defines quality of life describes the basic characteristics of glaucoma. The practical part describes its own investigation, which took place from June to November 2015 in the eye clinic Regional hospital Kladno. A total of 83 patients were enrolled. For data collection method was chosen a questionnaire which included items the standardized questionnaires NEI-VFQ-25 and GQL-15 and items characterizing the respondent. From his own survey shows that in the sample of respondents can be observed significant differences in responses by gender, age, treatment with glaucom disease and the level of the highest educational attainment. The thesis also gives a brief description and results of studies already exist on the same or similar subject.

Happiness of hospitalised children and parents in the Ophthalmology department for children and adults in FN Motol

The theme oť my dissertation is to find out, what is the satisfaction of children and their parents with nursing care. The text is div ided into two parts. The first part informs about nursing theory. It characterizes nursing and describes its progress, theory and several models of nursing, patients ' needs, nursing process, documentation, care and program of care quality. It describes basics of communication, image of nurses, their education and professional association. The second part contains results of my exploration and its analysis. My main objective was to find out the real satisfaction of pediatric patients and their parents with nursing care at the Department of Ophthalmology for Children and Adults in University Hospital Motol. Using questionnaire, I obtained answers of 56 parents and 25 chi ldren. I accentuated mainly general satisfaction with care, helpfulness and performance of nurses. I found out, that 89% of asked subjects were satisfied with nursing care. These results convince me, that the building-up of quality of nursing care is still possible and its monitoring is necessary. Lobbying in the EU

Struktura lobbingu v Evropské unii pomalu posouvá k více demokratickému modelu. Nejvlivnější institucí není již Rada EU, ale nejvhodnějšími institucemi k lobbingu se stávají EP a Komise. Nejen tento posun přispívá k demokratizaci celého procesu, velkým přispěvatelem je lobbing samotný. Žádný zákonodárce na světě není schopen vědět vše o všem, není schopen vnímat všechny aspekty daného problému. Prapůvod vzniku lobbingu tkví v zájmových skupinách. Zákon je většinou kompromisem různých názorů a zájmů různých lobbistických skupin. Lobbing různých zájmových subjektů u volených zákonodárců je v této souvislosti jedním z důležitých přispěvovatelů k demokracii v Bruselu
