Tarahumara/Rarámuri in Northwestern Mexico. From cave dwellings to ejido

This paper refers to Northwestem Mexico, name1y to the largest present native group the Tarahumara IRarámuri Indians. The thesis, which consists of three independent parts and nine chapters, shoves foremost on the reconstruction of development of this area (with a view to the Tarahumara people) from the prehistoric times to the arrival of first Spanish conquerors and missionaries and it seeks, simultaneously, to do certain more critical evaluation of the archaeological (ethnoarchaeological) researches, the biology anthropological researches and investigations in cultural geography, first more serious ethnographic fieldworks and principal historical resources with them some historians are working. It has been taken advantage of many works and older researches which represents the definite representative sample for the frame of one~s own hypotheses and questions at what we are looking for the answer. The second part targets the some theoretical conceptions as ethnicity (ethnic identity), social and cultural identity, the acculturation or transculturation or some Mexican (Latin American) version of political identity indigenism with them it works generally and more concretely and it nears namely on the Mexican material some doubtable theses as interna/ c%nialism and with it connected the simplified idea about...

Markéta Křížová, Ph.D. Prague, 2018. 384 pp. The present dissertation, under the title of State, Law, and Everyday Life in Aztec Tenochtitlan, is the result of the research of a society that existed in the Aztec city-state of Tenochtitlan from its founding (about AD 1325) to its conquest by the Spaniards (1519 - 1521). In the dissertation, based on historical sources and secondary literature, three essential, complementary aspects of this society are examined, namely: 1. its organization and functioning, whose character indicates that Tenochtitlan was a consolidated (urban) state; 2. its legal order, which was developed and systematically exercised by the state; and 3. typical forms of everyday life of its members (of different categories). Contemporary Iroquois and their identity

This doctoral thesis deals with problems of identification of people who 1) consider themselves as Iroquois, or 2) are considered as Iroquois. The Iroquois are original inhabitants of North America living predominantly in the northeastern part of the U.S.A. (namely the State of New York) and in adjacent parts of Canada (provinces Ontario and Quebec). The thesis concentrates mainly on the process of identity or identities formation in the context of policies of the U.S. (and individual union states) and Canada (and individual Canadian provinces) which stipulate the legal framework for definition of membership of the group, rules for border crossing and jurisdiction in the reserves. Further the thesis examines the selfidentification of the Iroquois on the basis of kinship, place of residence, recognition or rejection of own political representatives and consequently fractioning of communities, religions, native languages, symbols, oral traditions and specific matters such as the game of lacross. The economics of professional sports clubs

The thesis deals with the selfhoods of the economics of professional sports clubs. Theoretical part shows the transition from traditional to contemporary professional sports financing with focusing on differences between european and american model. European union's attitude towards the problematics of professional sport is presented as well. Practital part of the thesis looks over the economics of professional football clubs in Europe. Revenues, expenditures and financing of the clubs are all examined in this part. Finally, thesis analyzes the potential threats to football clubs and provides with suggested regulatory actions.
The analyst of the sport funding in the Czech Republic

The main aim of the Master's thesis is to summarize the current structure of the sport funding from the Czech state. The work analyses its failures and points out the main factors that rank the Czech Republic among three worst financing states in the European Union in terms of the absolute and relative amount of the funds supporting psychical activities. Firstly, the theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the history of the sport in the Czech Republic and its social importance. To create the basis for the analyses included in this thesis, this part introduces the definitions of the non-profit organization and the civil association. Secondly, the practical part deals with the detailed analysis of the mentioned funding, which takes the form of state's direct and indirect subsidies.

Cieľom práce je poskytnúť obraz o medzinárodnom transferovom systéme a zainteresovaných subjektoch. Súčasťou je taktiež monitoring činnosti agentov FIFA vo svete, detailnejší pohľad na situáciu v ČR a na Slovensku. Na záver je prezentovaný konkrétny príklad medzinárodného prestupu profesionálneho hráča.
