Design of a low-noise operational amplifier with 1/f noise analysis
Koukol, Martin ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with the physical description of the MOS transistor noise, focusing on the 1/f flicker noise. The equations for flicker noise in weak and strong inversion in linear and saturation regions and the dependence on transistor dimensions have been derived. These dependencies were verified by simulation. The second part deals with the design of a low-noise rail-to-rail operational amplifier, on which noise analysis was performer and also verified by simulation. The proposed operational amplifier was verified across process and temperature.
Error analysis and optimization of low voltage BG reference
Koukol, Martin ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of Brokaw type low-voltage BG reference and it’s following optimalization using error analysis to achieve better precision than ±0,5 % with level of accuracy 4 sigma. The main focus of the thesis is the error analysis itself and finding the individual factors that affect precision. Design and optimalization of the voltage reference were made in program Cadence Virtuoso.

Nutrition for performance tennis players
Koukol, Michal ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Nutrition for performance tennis players Objective: The aim of this master's thesis is to explain the importance of training diet, particularly a diet for performance tennis players. Analyze the nutritional habits of performance player and suggest an appropriate diet. Methods: Master's thesis has character of a case study. Research in this work is based on the descriptive analysis. Data is being collected by semi-structured interviews and continuous diet. Obtained data are qualitative and quantitative. Results: The player had a negative energy balance. The energy deficit was caused by insufficient intake of complex carbohydrates and high-quality proteins. Player consumes too much saturated fatty acids. In the diet was a small amount of the mono and poly unsaturated fatty acids. In any days was not taken the recommended amount of fiber. Drinking regime was respected by player properly, but player had not chosen the right types of fluids. Keywords: nutrition, tennis, performance
Nutrition for endurance runners
Koukol, Michal ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Nutrition for endurance runners Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explain the importance of training diet, particularly a diet for marathon runners in the age of 30 - 40 years. Proposal of diet composition for marathon runners. Methods: I conducted a literature research of czech and foreign sources regarding training diet to get relevant information. I also searched for scientific papers using the internet database EBSCO and Scorpus. Results: Recommended amount of carbohydrates increases with duration. 8 - 10 g/kg of body weight is needed for a race lasting 2 - 4 hours. Recommended amount of proteins is 1,2 - 1,6 g/kg of body weight. The amount of fats, recommended for endurance running, is 1 g/kg of body weight. The runner should be well hydrated. Dehydration decreases performance. It is recommended to drink isotonic sport drinks with carbohydrates added. It is recommended to eat polysaccharide snack with low glycemic index weighing 1 g/kg of body weight. Endurance performance can be enhanced by consuming 100 - 250 kcal of carbohydrates every hour after the first hour of the race. It is also recommended to consume carbohydrates with high glycemic index and proteins (the ratio of carbohydrates to proteins being 4:1) 30 to 90 min. after finishing the performance. Medium chain...
Overview of current scientific and application results in the control of traffic lights using fuzzy logic
Koukol, M. ; Přikryl, Jan
The report describes the basic principles of fuzzy approach to the management of traffic lights on roads, gives an overview of published literature and explains how implemetnace simple fuzzy control system within a microsimulation software.
Local climate and its impact on the application of organic agriculture in the selected area
KOUKOL, Marek
The aim of this study is to evaluate the local climate in the selected area and assess its impact. Monitoring will be situated in South Bohemia in Nové Hrady on an organic farm called Farm Besednice Ltd. This company is mainly focused on agricultural activities. The main interest is cattle breeding and cultivation of permanent grassland, i.e. production of hay and silage for farm´s own breeding and hay for export. Beside that a cultivation of fruit trees is other interest of this farm. There are many aspects that affect the economy. Therefore we are finding what agricultural activity favors and what does not, both in terms of weather, as well as in the practical side of farm´s own experiences
EVALUATION OF MEZZOCLIMATE AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE APLICATION OF ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE IN AN INTEREST
KOUKOL, Marek
The main aim of this work is to evaluate the mezzoclimate in the area of Hamer where a farm is situated which focuses on agriculture with an endeavour for granting a licence authoristation for ecological agriculture. There are many aspects which have an influance on how to manage a tilled area of meadows and pastures. It has been found what is for this farm profitable and what is inconvenient frombothgeographical and meteorological point of wievs. It has been also found, that the influance of such an agricultural activity has a very positive influence on both - the countryside and man. This kind of agriculture produces health unexceptionable groceries and biomass that we are capable of utilizing for production of energy due to an unhampered form. There is a ( growing) demand for this kind of farms with the focus on quality than quantity.
