Drone position stabilization methods using image data
Koukal, Ondřej ; Raichl, Petr (referee) ; Janoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of an unmanned aircraft stabilization system. The purpose of this system is to determine the exact position of the unmanned aircraft in space based on image data from two cameras in real time. The theoretical part describes the image processing methods and the algorithm for determining the position of the unmanned aircraft. The practical part describes the implementation and testing of the system.
Design of the surgical preparation for facial implant osseointegration
Koukal, Ondřej ; Omasta, Milan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and contstruction of a preparation for surgical introduction of osseointegration implant, of which function is fixing an epithesis in the orbit area. Computer Tomography data of a patient was provided as a basis for design work. The thesis also includes a research on osseointegration utilization in the introduction of facial epithesis.
Design of sieving machine for powder metal materials
Malý, Martin ; Koukal, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a sieving machine for metal powders and issues associated with this technology. Next the thesis focuses on vibrations and his excitation. Based on specifited parametes in this thesis is created and described design of screening machine for metal powders.
The study of the effect of additive manufacturing technology parameters Selective Laser Melting properties of the produced object
Žabka, Marek ; Koukal, Ondřej (referee) ; Vrána, Radek (advisor)
Metal additive technology currently finds use in a large number of industrial sectors. Mainly in domains such as aviation, medicine and astronautics, the emphasis is laid on mechanical and material properties of materials. This bachelor thesis deals with the research study of process parameters of technology Selective Laser Melting for material AlSi10Mg and stainless steel 316L. In thesis the impact analysis of main process parameters: laser power, scanning speed, hatch distance, layer thickness, especially on the porosity of the samples was carried out. Recommended settings for both materials were found based on the research of the current state. It was further found out the influence of parameters such as powder humidity or laser scan strategy.
Review of materials used for the manufacturing by the Selective Laser Melting technology
Skalický, Petr ; Vrána, Radek (referee) ; Koukal, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to provide an overview of metallic materials (powders), which are used in the manufacture of parts and models with SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technology. It contains basic information about Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology and more detailed description of basic methods of RP, especially SLM. Next is a description of manufacture powders methods and its properties. The last section contains an overview of powdery materials as powders made of pure metal (one kind of metal material) and powders produced from metal alloys. This review focuses on the most important and most widely used materials for the manufacture of parts using SLM.
Design of storage containers for powdered metal materials
Vaverka, Ondřej ; Koukal, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of storage container for powdered metal materials used in 3D printer. It contains a short overview of possibilities in metal powders storage, SLM workplace’s requirements and analysis of this problem. Based on this, the goals are specified. The work deals with various solutions and their assessments. In the last part the final version is described, including neccessary calculations and drawings.
Mechanical upper limb prosthesis
Koukal, Ondřej ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This thesis elaborates on design and fabrication of an artificial mechanical upper limb prototype for transradial amputations, i. e. for patients with stump between elbow and wrist joints. The artificial limb is designed for use in a wide spectrum of patients. Therefore, the main components are designed to be applicable to smaller as well as larger hand dimensions. The artificial mechanical limb is designed to be controlled by the other hand of a patient and enables grasping of objects via cylindrical and hook grip. Fingers are driven by tension springs and can be locked in extension. Clenching can be initiated by pressing a button, which unlocks the fingers, thus an object can be grasped. Wrist joint is adjustable when pressed a release button. Forearm joint is locked by preloaded spring. The lock of the forearm joint is released by sufficient torque. New position of the forearm joint is locked automatically when the torque is not being applied. Prototypes of the artificial mechanical upper limb were manufactured by using of rapid prototyping technologies (FDM, SLM) as well as CNC milling machine. All parts of the artificial limb were designed with regard to manufacturability by conventional methods such as casting, injection and the like. The artificial limb prototype had been designed on 3D data basis of a specific patient, who already has tested the prototype. Following materials were used on the prototype: ABS plastic, SikaBlock M940 polyurethane, aluminium and 316L stainless steel.
