Continuous Welded Rail in Curves of Small Radii

This paper provides a comprehensive review of the theory of continuous welded rail (CWR) mechanics and summarizes research results published to date with a focus on the stability of continuous welded rail. Axial forces arise mainly due to temperature changes and can cause rail crack in low winter temperatures or track buckling in high summer temperatures. The results of static analyses of the stability of CWR for small radii are presented.
Reduced stability is typical of curves of small radius (R < 300 m) where the lateral resistance of the track and the bending stiffness are exceeded. In curves of very small radii, lateral displacements of the track have been observed which reduce the axial forces in the track and thus reduce the risk of track buckling.

The aim of the diploma thesis is design a hotel in Žďár nad Sázavou. The hotel is designed for 36 guests. The building is with partial basement and it is composed of three parts. These parts have one, two and five above-ground floor. Structural system is frame and load-bearing elements are columns and beams. The roof is flat. Part of the design is also a thermal assessment and fire safety assessment.

External walls in above-ground floors are of brick blocks Porotherm. Plot is flat. Part of the design is thermal assessment, acoustic assessment and fire safety assessment.

Geometry of anamorphic paintings of the Mannerist period

This work focuses on geometry of Renaissance and Mannerist paintings. It is divided into two chapters, that introduces the reader to the history and geometry of Renaissance and Mannerism and to the relationship between geometry and didactics of mathematics. The chapter about geometry describes anamorphoses and method that were used to create them. The work is for reader's needs accompanied by a lot of pictures and artworks often modified so that it is clear why the painting is mentioned in this work. The evaluation and propose of financial strategy of the company Žatecký pivovar, spol. s.r.o.

This bachelor's thesis is trying to assess the financial situation of the company Žatecký pivovar, spol. s.r.o. with the methods of financial analysis, which purpose is to evaluate the sources, which are at the disposal of the company. This analysis assess situation in period 2009 -- 2013 from the perspective of external user. There are included also methods of strategic analysis, which characterize the surroundings of the company, and main progress of the sector. Theoretical part describes the techniques and the methods, which are used in the practical part of the thesis. The results are subsequently interpreted and conclusion includes the evaluation of the outputs. The financial strategy of the company can be described as aggressively oriented, which can be explained for example by a number of opportunities, which are situated in the surroundings of the company. It could be recommended to reach better alignment of resources in time viewpoint, which should improve also other areas of the financial management.
