Manufacturing of consumer accessories using rapid prototyping technology

My bachelor thesis is focused ou the production of applied supplements not commonly available. The applied supplements were modelled by Autodesk Inventor graphic program, transferred to, outcoming format of data and them produced by Rapid Prototyping technology by using fused deposition modelling aditive method. The part of my thesis i salso production of silicon form of chosen part by means of vakuum moulding system. My thesis is finished by technical and economical evaluation comparing the price, for which these supplements can be obtained in the market or produced by means of 3D printed uPrint by using fused deposition modelling method, which is available at Brno Universit of Technology – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Hosting Capacity of the Distribution Grids for Renewable Electricity Production

This thesis deals with the topic of hosting capacity of the distribution grids for renewable electricity production. The first part of the thesis focuses on describing the back effects to the distribution network and requests for connection. Furthermore, an overview of the most commonly connected renewable energy sources to the distribution system is provided. In the practical part of the thesis, a model of a real high-voltage network was created, in which connection requests were recorded. One of the requests was thoroughly assessed, and the impacts of the connected generation on the network were evaluated.

The Problematics of Racism in Sport: Events of the Rangers-Slavia Football Match in the Czech and Britisch Media

The following diploma thesis The Problematics of Racism in Sport: Events of the Rangers - Slavia Football Match in the Czech and British Media deals with how Czech and British journalists reported the emotional situation of the European League 2020/2021 second-leg osmifinal, in which Slavia defender Ondřej Kúdela allegedly racially abused Glen Kamara, Rangers FC midfielder. Kúdela defended himself against the accusation and, on the contrary, pointed out that Kamara had physically attacked him after the match in the stadium tunnel and complained about the Scottish team's crude game. These three topics have become the main subject of the presented analysis. It took place on three Czech and three British online periodicals from March 18 to April 1, 2021. Research was based on quantitative method and for example determined the number of articles that dealt with the events and their message - whether they show that Kúdela committed this act, or not. Among other things, it monitored which side the texts are oriented to or what journalistic genres they are. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the relationship between journalism and sport, racism in the sports environment, the development of the observed case and the social context.

The Impact of the Chernobyl Disaster on the Cycling Peace Race and its Print Media Coverage

This bachelor's thesis The Impact of the Chernobyl Disaster on the Cycling Peace Race and its Print Media Coverage deals with how Czechoslovak daily newspapers reflected the nuclear accident in their texts from the 39th Peace Race which started in Kiev in 1986 ten days after the disaster. In the period from April 26 to May 26, 1986, the study firstly examines the number of articles about the race in the content of Československý sport, Mladá fronta and Rudé právo, then analyzes how many articles mentioned the Chernobyl disaster. In the next step bachelor's thesis observes how the accident was reflected in the texts. For example, the thesis discusses whether the texts show a political subtext or how the periodicals justified the non-participation of the majority of teams from the Western bloc. The formulated conclusions are also based on interviews with direct participants from among cyclists and journalists. The theoretical part deals with the media system of the 80s, further describes the state's interventions in sports during the communist era, the Chernobyl accident and the history of the cycling Peace Race.
