The following bachelor thesis examines the act of volunteering as possible preparation for a student of Social Work. This paper aims to determine if the act of volunteering can positively influence the career of a future social worker. A qualitative strategy was put in place for the research aspect of this paper, including a survey method and the usage of semi structured interview techniques to gather data. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis was then used to analyse the resulting information, focusing specifically in the "deeper feelings and experiences" shared by the communication partners. Finally, the usage of a snowballing technique was used to obtain research population. The resulting research sample was composed of social work students with a minimum 3 years of volunteering experience. As a result of the research process, it was made clear that the experience of volunteering was positive and beneficial for the volunteer. Said benefits include the improvement or development of soft skills and active listening skills. Additionally, the participating communication partners highlighted the ability to deal with crisis situations and the extensive knowledge regarding services and additional support, so translating in better help and more ideal services for clients in need. The results of this paper conclude that volunteering is in fact beneficial for the career of a future social worker, outcome that is in line with other research done regarding this topic. Finally, it is believed that the results and information found on this paper may be beneficial and inspiring for people interested in social work, so serving as an invitation for them to become involved with volunteering.

Klímová, Michaela ; Valouchová, Petra (advisor) ; Dyrhonová, Olga (referee)
Scoliosis is the most common deformity of the spine affecting from 3 to 6% of human population. The thesis "Moiré and Pedoscan dynamic examinations of patients with scoliosis" summarizes the findings of kinesiology of the spine, pelvis and hip joints and ontogenesis of axial organ straightening. It also deals with the issue of idiopathic scoliosis, its incidence, etiology, classification, diagnosis, treatment options and applied physiotherapy methods. The paper emphasizes the influence of physiotherapy that forms an integral part of medical treatment. A great part of the thesis is devoted to the rasterstereographic and pedobarographic examination. The main purpose of this thesis was to detect and evaluate parameters assessing posture and movement of patients suffering from scoliosis and compare them with a control group. For this purpose, a pedobarographic system Diers pedoscan was used, which detected the distribution of compressive forces on the feet when walking and standing. It was also used a rasterstereographic system Diers formetric III 4D, which allowed for capturing photogrammetric recording of the spine and pelvis using a video-rasterstereography based on the Moiré topography. The study was carried out with a group of 22 females with idiopathic scoliosis up to 40ř according to Cobb aged...

The thesis includes knowledge about anatomy of palmodigital aponeurosis, clinical picture, etiology, epidemiology, diagnostics, conservative and surgical treatment a nd points to a crucial influence of physiotherapy as an integral part of the treatment. Evaluation of road network as an integral part of common facilities plan in Comprehensive Landscaping
KLÍMOVÁ, Michaela
Aim of the thesis is evaluation of road network as an integral part of common facilities plan. To get the results I chose two cadastral areas situated at different altitudes in which I examined behaviour of road network based on other common facilities. Basically it was a survey on how the road network in each territory adjoins the elements of Territorial System of Ecological Stability that helps reduce erosion vulnerability and whether it can improve the water situation in the territory. Results are given in the sub-tables that describe the road network in interaction with other common facilities conducted before and after Comprehensive Landscaping. These tables are supplemented by a recommendation which might ensure greater efficiency in the future. Sub-tables also indicate the approach of designers when designing road networks in typologically different territories. All results are graphically presented both in the text and in the annexes.

The position and function of road network in interaction with other parts of plan of communal facilities
KLÍMOVÁ, Michaela
This Bachelor?s thesis concentrates on position and function of road network in interaction with other parts of plan of communal facilities. The aim of the thesis is to gain a comprehensive survey of the road network and assessment of its role in protection against soil erosion, its participation in ÚSES (Regional System of Ecological Stability) and its function as a component of improvement of water supply and distribution in the area, and lastly the influence of the road network on accessibility of plots in the area and permeability of the area. Secondly, it is necessary to compare two cadastral units ? cadastral unit Čejkovice by Hluboká nad Vltavou and cadastral unit Záluží nad Vltavou ? with regard to communal facilities and to judge. Road network in both above mentioned localities was designed with regard to other communal facilities, but in the future it is necessary to solve subsequent addition of side ditches in cadastral unit Záluží nad Vltavou or planting of solitary trees along rural roads in cadastral unit Čejkovice.
