Bakalářská práce se zabývá dobrovolnictvím v kontextu možné přípravy studentů sociální práce na budoucí roli sociálního pracovníka. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak dobrovolnická činnost studenta sociální práce může ovlivnit jeho budoucí profesi sociálního pracovníka. Výzkumná část byla založena na kvalitativní strategii, kde byla použita metoda dotazování a technika polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Pro analýzu dat byla využita Interpretativní fenomenologická analýza, která se zaměřuje na hlubší pocity a prožívání komunikačních partnerů. Výzkumným soubor byl získán na základě techniky sněhové koule. Výzkumným vzorkem byli studenti sociální práce, kteří mají zkušenosti s dobrovolnickou činností, a to minimálně 3 roky. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že zkušenosti studentů sociální práce v rámci dobrovolnické činnosti jsou pozitivní a přínosné. Za vyzdvihnutí stojí dovednosti komunikace a aktivního naslouchání, které komunikační partneři zmiňovali nejvíce. Zároveň mezi další důležité přínosy dobrovolnické činnosti pro budoucí profesi sociálního pracovníka zařadili komunikační partneři umění řešit krizové situace a větší přehled v sociálních, ale i jiných, službách, které mohou v budoucí profesi sociálního pracovníka svým klientům nabídnout. Výsledky výzkumu podtrhují již vzniklé výzkumy na téma dobrovolnictví a jeho přínosy. Zároveň se výzkum zaměřuje konkrétně na dobrovolnický mentoringový program a může tak být přínosný a inspirující pro studenty sociální práce k zapojení se do dobrovolnické činnosti. The following bachelor thesis examines the act of volunteering as possible preparation for a student of Social Work. This paper aims to determine if the act of volunteering can positively influence the career of a future social worker. A qualitative strategy was put in place for the research aspect of this paper, including a survey method and the usage of semi structured interview techniques to gather data. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis was then used to analyse the resulting information, focusing specifically in the "deeper feelings and experiences" shared by the communication partners. Finally, the usage of a snowballing technique was used to obtain research population. The resulting research sample was composed of social work students with a minimum 3 years of volunteering experience. As a result of the research process, it was made clear that the experience of volunteering was positive and beneficial for the volunteer. Said benefits include the improvement or development of soft skills and active listening skills. Additionally, the participating communication partners highlighted the ability to deal with crisis situations and the extensive knowledge regarding services and additional support, so translating in better help and more ideal services for clients in need. The results of this paper conclude that volunteering is in fact beneficial for the career of a future social worker, outcome that is in line with other research done regarding this topic. Finally, it is believed that the results and information found on this paper may be beneficial and inspiring for people interested in social work, so serving as an invitation for them to become involved with volunteering.
