The Master's thesis solves the question of financing an acquisition of fixed assets from external resources. It deals with a detailed analysis of products offered by leasing companies and banking institutions. It primarily examines financial leasing and investment credits. The essence of the thesis is to find the most appropriate external financing option for a purchase of cargo trucks, based on the analysis of particular offers.

Statistical Analysis of a Company´s Financial Risk Factors

The master’s thesis deals with the usage of statistical analysis in the evaluation of the financial situation of the chosen company. The author focuses on the analysis of economic indocators, that are used in business practice for the assessment of the company financial situation. Summarized economic data are analyzed by financial and statistical analysis. The data comparism results to recommendations that may be impemented for company improvement. On the basis of historical data and trends prognosis the company gets specific picture about future situation and the effects on the market.

The transformation of a second housing in the protected landscape area of Český Kras.

This diploma work deals with a second housing (cottage activities) development and transformation in the beginning of 21. century in the protected landscape area of Český Kras with an attention to Hlásná Třebaň municipality. The aim of this work is to analyse and to assess second housing, its recent status, changes and cottage using trends. This work tries to handle especially mutual effect of second housing and protected landscape area. It presents the second habitation as a phenomenon influencing the character of a landscape, its residential structure, architectonic site character, locality and objects. The second housing development in the surveyed area was described through the use of a special literature, questionnaire, terrain survey and through analysis of gathered data. This work further assess data available for this area and topic. This service area is formed by 37 municipalities which rank among the most significant and oldest recreation areas in the Czech republic. Second housing specificity was also analysed on the basis of questionnaire survey in the municipality of Hlásná Třebaň. The interrelation between second housing and protected landscape area of Český Kras is shaped mostly by suburban development and natural risks (especially floods and limestone mining). An integral part of the thesis looks also at gerontotechnology the task of which is to enhance the quality of life of the elderly and to allow them to remain in their home and therefore natural environment as long as possible. The title "how IT changed my life" contains an infinite number of questions and answers. Many elderly people feel better nowadays thanks to modern technologies. They appreciate the speed of information search on the internet, whether it involves health, cultural or transport information. Technologies also allow them to keep in touch with their family and friends. The benefit in the area of care and safety is also worth mentioning, especially in case of those living alone without a possibility of an all day oversight. Nowadays we can choose from several types of signal devices that can alert the police or a 24/7 line that can check the elderly person immediately over the phone, or send out an ambulance if necessary.
