Kavková, Adriana ; Urban, Kamila (advisor) ; Bezdíček, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to test the utility of the Cognitive Assessment System 2 (CAS2) in a group of adolescents with ADHD. The CAS2 battery is a test of cognitive abilities based on the PASS theory (Planning, Attention, Simultaneous and Successive Processes). Previous foreign studies have indicated lower performance in children with ADHD on the Planning and Attention scales, but average performance on the Simultaneous and Successive Processes. Looking back at life
KAVKOVÁ, Adriana
The old age is a life balance sheet period. The seniors assess their existing life at this age - especially they are considering whether they have experienced life as they imagined; they look for the results they have left behind and they evaluate their mistakes that they have made on the their life road. The bachelor thesis focuses on the retrospective view of seniors´ lifes. Support for the chosen topic is the issue of old age and aging; the starting point is Erikson's concept of old age, especially the space of the eighth and ninth age and their developmental tasks. Furthermore, the concept of quality of life is introduced. The practical part focuses on the life stories of our respondents. It focuses on mapping the events that they consider as the most important in their life; which events they evaluate as valuable and positive, but also if there is an event or something they regret. Qualitative research is realized through in-depth interviews with female seniors.
