Class meetings on the primary school - Do the class meetings have meaning?

Diploma work deals with the class meetings on the primary school. Class meetings take place in all primary schools, it is traditional way of family and school communication, which has been already used for several decades, always in the same form. School always communicates with parents in the same way. Perhaps therefore not many authors deal with these topics in literature. Nevertheless great changes have happend in the conventional parents communication with school for last years. Work tries to spring movement in the school and family communication in present times and describe aspect, what influences this interaction, and it goes out from datas obtained from the teachers and parents discussions, from the observation of class meetings and analysis of real conflictful situation in the family and school communication. Work wants to show, that parent's meetings, as they have already functioned for a long time, they have principle left fulfiling of their function (possibility for family to meet with school, to obtain information about child education and grades). Thanks law about protecting of personal datas it isn't possible to give parents information about their child in face of other parents on the class meetings.
