Utilization of airborne laser scanning data for the detection of agrarian forms of relief in the Giant Mountains
Jebavá, Lucie ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Utilization of airborne laser scanning data for the detection of agrarian forms of relief in the Giant Mountains Abstract This thesis deals with the possible use of airborne laser scanning data for the detection of agrarian forms of relief in the Giant Mountains. The main research method is the analy- sis of the digital terrain model and digital surface model in the area of the Giant Mountains in the software ArcGIS 10.0. The analysis is based on specific functions in ArcGIS software (Slope, Curvature) as well as on combinations of rasters of shaded reliefs which led to the detection of further agrarian forms. To verify the precision of agrarian forms detection field verification was used. Based on verification and accuracy assessment the results can be designated as a very satisfactory. The Administration of the Giant Moun- tains National Park can use the research results to quantify the agrarian forms of relief, to improve their protection and, possibly also for further research and management. Keywords: airborne laser scanning, agrarian forms of relief, anthropogenic geo- morphology
Utilization of optical and laser data for modeling forest areas
Jebavá, Lucie ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Dušánek, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with the possible use of optical data for modeling forest area compared with utilization of airborne laser scanning data. At first these two datasets are compared and causes of differences are explained. Then canopy height models are made and object-oriented classification is applied for separation of vegetation stands. Methodical procedure is suggested for delineation and detection individual trees in forest. Then their height is detected. There are summarized and other possibilities for improvement in detection and delineation of trees. The results show that optical data with resolution about 25 cm are suitable for dermining the characteristics of the forest stands up to individual tree level. The outputs of this research can be used for forest inventory. Key words: aerial imagery, image matching, laser scanning, point cloud, forest inventory

What girls want? The picture of their world in magazines Super Dívka and BravoGirl!
Jebavá, Lucie ; Jirák, Jan (advisor) ; Vochocová, Lenka (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis What do the girls want? The reflection of their world in the magazines Super Dívka and BravoGirl! is to analyze the representation of lifestyle in the magazines for girls and the evolution of this representation within fifteen years. For the needs of this work, the individual theoretical concepts have been discussed, in order to better understand the problematics of media representation of reality. We defined notions such as social and media construction of reality, theory of representation, gender, stereotypes, myths and ideology. Other chapters are dedicated to the notion of lifestyle from its sociological and media perspective, to the girls' magazines themselves and to their up to now researches. These researches are concerned especially with the problematics of consolidation of gender stereotypes in the society through proposed patterns of behaviour and creation of norms of femininity. At the same time, they consider the magazines to be the holders of ideology in consumer and patriarchal society. For the needs of this thesis, the mixed analytical method has been used. The content analysis quantitatively classifies thematic agenda of magazines and semiotic analysis follows denotative and connotative level of signs and their meanings for the representation of...
Analysis of connectivity of territorial system of Landscape ecological stability in Hradec Králové region
Jebavá, Lucie ; Šímová, Petra (advisor) ; Skaloš, Jan (referee)
The thesis deals with analysis of connectivity of a territorial system of landscape ecological stability in the Hradec Králové region. This area is also famous for its typical agricultural production. The calculations done in software Conefor were counted for three groups of animals with different dispersal possibilities. It was made in several phases. At first, the connectivity of all biocentres was counted then the connectivity without nonfunctional biocentres. In the next step was counted connectivity for three categories of biotopes and the same calculations were made for newly proposed biocentres. The results from software Conefor show that the indicies are not so clear. Also the rate of connectivity in the study area is questionable.
