Evaluating the effectiveness of e-services in public administration

The thesis is focused on issues in eGovernment of Czech Republic and evaluation of two selected e-services. The target is to describe the state of eGovernment in Czech Republic and to offer to public administration some recommendations to its future development. The thesis consists of information about historic development of eGovernment in Czech Republic, about the most significant projects and about the state of Czech eGovernment in comparison to abroad. The practical part describes the methodology which was used to measure the selected e-services. The assessment of measurement reveals their weaknesses and proposes recommendations to their corrections.

Evaluation of electronic services - Public administration

This thesis focuses on the e-Government, especially on the justice and law. The main objective is to create a methodology for measuring the success of two actual "in progress" projects -- electronic collection of Laws and electronic legislation. The strategic e Government documents create background of the thesis. The analysis and evaluation of projects' statuses are made with using the annual reports. Both projects are described and related to the legal system of CZ and commercial legal ICT systems. The final part of the thesis presents a design of methodology, created on the base of obtained knowledge.

Analysis of the effectiveness of e-government e-services CZ

This paper has focus on czech e-government topic. Its background are strategic documents of the Czech Republic, international comparison, completed projects of e-government in Czech Republic and european framework for benchmarking e-government progress. The Methodology is built on this background, which is able to evaluate effectiveness of e-government services. Relevance of this methodology is verified by two pilot measurements.

Whole spectrum of possibilities is opening for companies during the time of expansion information and communication technologies. These possibilities could help companies to be more effective. The Market offer more than one solution of each problem but each solution has different cost and functionality. These facts are reasons why importance of consulting and analytical work has been growing. We need type people, who solve the intellectual, terminological and ideological misunderstanding between producer and customer Department where I work and write my bachelor thesis has problems and thus has room for improvement. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the problems and come up with the spectrum of possibilities that solves them. I use my theoretic knowledge from university and my practical experience from work during analysis. At first I want to describe department`s environment and then the processes. After the description I will be able to identify critical places and propose their optimization.
