The Influence of Distance Learning on Dependence of Children on The Internet
JANOUŠKOVÁ, Jana
The bachelor's thesis focuses on how long-term online learning affects children and young students' time spent online. In the theoretical part are the findings on addiction itself, social networks and other typical activities for spending time online in distance learning as well as distance learning itself is presented. The content of the practical part focuses on a quantitative research study. The chosen method of data collection is a questionnaire survey aimed at primary and secondary schools. From the acquired data, it is concluded how much distance learning has affected the time spent on the Internet before and now in distance learning.
Effect of exodermis differentiation on nutrient uptake localization in root
Janoušková, Jana ; Tylová, Edita (advisor) ; Konrádová, Hana (referee)
Plants are able to cope with changing environmental conditions or withstand its adverse effects due to their plastic development. One way to adapt to fluctuating amounts of nutrients and water in the environment or the presence of toxic substances is to regulate the movement of substances between the plant and the environment. Beside other, this regulation is also possible at the level of the root system, by the formation of apoplastic barriers endodermis and exodermis. Some species posses endodermis only, in others exodermis in hypodrermal layers of the root can be found. These barriers differentiate in three stages and prevent free movement of coumpounds though apoplast. The transport to the symplast is the key point of regulating the uptake of substances into the plant and the endodermis is the fundamental structure. The presence of exodermis, however, affects the apoplast permeability of the surface root layers and can therefore influence the involvement of the primary cortex cells in the uptake of substances from the environment. In this work the impact of phosphate deficiency on the formation of apoplastic barriers was studied focusing on exodermis and the effect of its differentiation on the occurrence of membrane transporters and involvement of primary cortex cells in the uptake of...

The issue of employment of people with visual disabilities to the example of people in České Budějovice
JANOUŠKOVÁ, Jana
The present thesis deals with problems related to employment of visually impaired people in České Budějovice. The theoretical part deals with the definition of persons with visual impairment and their classifications, focus on possibilities for education and support for visually impaired people. Then I describe the legislative conditions in the process of employing such individuals and define the most important issues related to the employment of persons with visual disabilities. The empirical part interpret the results of our own research. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of the employment problem of visually impaired people. Research assumption is that job opportunities for persons with visual disabilities can improve their higher education or retraining course completion. Context research complemented with information about the attitudes of respondents, involving one of its own to the visual handicap and problems associated with information deficit, communication or technical barriers. The research part interprets the results of the specified issues of employment of the visually impaired in České Budějovice through case studies and using semi-structured interviews and observations.
