Nursing care of the patient with kardioverter defibrilator
Holanová, Tereza ; Vaňková, Milena (advisor) ; Indra, Tomáš (referee)
I deal with issue of nursing care of the patient with implantabled cardioverter - defibrilator in a case study. The patient was hospitalized on 25. 11.2013 with a ventricular fibrilation with an unconsciousness. The paramedic performed heart massage a the patient was repeatedly defibrilated. Than the patient was transported to a cathetrization laboratory for a checking coronary artery. The doctor implantabled the patient the cardioverter defibrilator because of ventricular fibrilation. The implantation was without the complications. The hospitalization was finished the eight day. The patient was informated about next controll. The patient was hospitalized for perfect cooperation. The patient was int the care of doctors and nursing team satisfied. List of abbreviations, list of literature and others are in the end of my these. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Donor eating habits and drinking schedule before plasmapheresis
Hostinová, Alena ; Tuka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Indra, Tomáš (referee)
(thesis): Basis: This diploma thesis follows the bachelor thesis that concentrates on the eating habits and water intake of blood plasma donors before plasmapheresis. Goals: The research had four goals: 1) explore to what extent does providing of the educational material influence the awareness of blood plasma donors. 2) To map subjective state of health and lifestyle of plasma donors regarding their physical activity, healthy, regular, varied diet, smoking and sleep schedule. 3) To explore the knowledge of regime measures and risk behaviour before donating blood plasma. To evaluate donors' eating habits and water intake before plasmapheresis and reveal potential deficiencies. 4) Evaluate the knowledge of a given problem with those respondents who were provided with educational material in comparison with those respondents who got no educational material. Methods: An educational material was created regarding regime measures of blood plasma donors. This educational material served as the basis for standardized anonymous questionnaire. Maintaining the ethical principles and with the ethical committee's approval, overall data of 40 respondents frequenting Haematology Department and blood transfusion of the Military University Hospital Prague. The sample consisted of two groups of randomly selected...
Left ventricle remodeling in patients with primary aldosteronism and essential hypertension
Indra, Tomáš ; Holaj, Robert (advisor) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee) ; Paleček, Tomáš (referee)
Myocardial damage is one of the most serious consequences of arterial hypertension. Changes in the heart structure and function develop not only due to pressure overload itself, but many other hemodynamic and neurohumoral factors contribute to their formation. Our work has compared echocardiohraphic strucutural anf functional changes of the left ventricle, caused by essential hypertension and hypertension associated with primary aldosteronism (PA) as the most common reason for secondary hypertension. The first part of our work focused on the differences in left ventricle geometry in men with PA and essential hypertension after separating it's low-renin form (where, similarly to PA, the plasma volume expansion was considered to have the dominant effect on left ventricle remodelation). In men with low-renin forms of hypertension including PA, we observed greater both endsystolic and enddiastolic diameter of the left ventricle, lower relative wall thickness and more frequent eccentric type of hypertrophy when compared to essential hypertensives with normal renin levels. Whereas left ventricle cavity diameters were positively correlated to aldosterone levels, wall thicknesses were associated mainly with hypertension severity expressed as an average 24hour blood pressure and number of antihypertensives....
