Parenthood in lesbian families
Bláhová, Kateřina ; Lánský, Ondřej (advisor) ; Hyánková, Tereza (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with same-sex parenting among lesbian couples and its process. In the Czech Republic, it is possible for same-sex couples to enter into a registered partnership, although there is no option of starting families with children together under the same legal protection that heterosexual couples have. On the contrary, there is no legislation concerning this issue. That is why, although same-sex parenting is not explicitly banned, the state and society show no basic degree of acceptance of this alternative family form. That puts lesbian couples into unique circumstances, which they encounter on their way to and during parenthood. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation of lesbian families in the Czech Republic using available literature and other sources. The thesis discusses the topics of the perception of homosexuality and same-sex parenting in the Czech society, the means of obtaining custody of a child and which ones are available, and what accompanying problems lesbian couples deal with on their way to parenthood. KEY WORDS LGBT, parenthood, lesbian couples, assisted reproduction, adoption

This bachelor Thesis deals with the question of the end of the first wave of feminism and the decline of the feminist movement in interwar Czechoslovakia, considering the development until 1948. The Thesis presents and analyses the reasons why, despite a progressive constitution and an emancipation-leaning society, it was not possible to achieve a greater gender equality. The Thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part presents the theoretical framework of the first wave of feminism and the feminist movement, as well as the historical context of Czech and Czechoslovakian feminism. The second part problematizes political system in Czechoslovakia in relation to women's emancipation, especially parliamentarism, the party system, the limits of democracy, and also the concept of the family. The third part of the Thesis describes and analyses the feminist movement as such, its relationship to the state and society, its strategies and ideological foundations, the formation of women's group consciousness, the mobilization potential of the women's movement and the relationship between democracy and feminism. The thesis is focused on non-substance addictions, particularly on forms of Internet addiction disorder which can occur at secondary school. Firstly, my bachelor thesis deals with the general characteristics of addictions and describes non-substance addictions, such as online gaming addiction and internet sex addiction. Moreover, I focused on the topic of compulsive Internet use in greater detail. In this thesis, I tried to briefly summarize what so-called dopamine is and how it relates to compulsive Internet use. Furthermore, the thesis deals more closely with the issue of time spent on the phone, digital detox, social networking, social media jealousy and applications such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Twitter. The thesis summarizes the manifestations of these addictions, their causes, prevention, and treatment. Excerpts of semi-structured interviews with students are continuously documented in the thesis. Family Models: Teachers' views on this topic within curricula
Rejfová, Dominika ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Hyánková, Tereza (referee)
The bachelor thesis "Family Models: Teachers' views on this topic within curricula" explores how teachers deal with family models in teaching according to their professional experience. I am interested in how teachers perceive the inclusion of family models into teaching. Whether more time should be devoted to this topic in ZSV classes or whether, on the contrary, this topic is sufficiently represented in the curricula. I am focusing on whether teachers present only the traditional family as a model or whether they try to include other family models in their teaching. Other related questions are then derived from this. These include how teachers apply family models in their teaching, whether teachers are afraid to express their opinions or whether they feel constrained in their practice by the school or parents. In the theoretical part, I focus on the terminology of family, the teacher as a person, and the family in the curriculum and teaching. I want to highlight the importance of the family for the child and the factors influencing the form and functionality of the family. In the practical part, qualitative research is carried out based on the interviews with ten informants teaching ZSV in a high school. Based on the thematic analysis, it was found that informants evaluate the inclusion of family...
