HRV analysis based on PPG signal
Kadlčík, Jindřich ; Hrbotický, Lukáš (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
Heart rate variability analysis has lately gained remarkable popularity as a tool in training optimalization and in prevention of cardiac disease. It is usually based on the ECG signal, the acquisition of which is uncomfortable during activity. Therefore, the option to base the analysis on the PPG signal instead was proposed, but not yet sufficiently studied. This study compiles the necessary information for correct heart rate variability analysis and introduces our own implemented detectors of fiducial points in the PPG signal, and compares their usability for calculation of HRV analysis metrics.
Calculation of the cyclist's power output based on data from shoe pressure insoles
Teturová, Iveta ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Hrbotický, Lukáš (advisor)
Překlad abstraktu The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the question of utilizing pressure values measured by pressure inserts for calculating the performance of cyclists. Since this method has not been used in cycling before, the result of this work can be applied to expanding the methods of measuring performance in this sport in the future. The goal was to verify whether the use of this conversion is applicable in practice. This goal was verified by obtaining data during practical measurements, subsequent analysis of this data, and comparison of the results with other methods currently used for measuring performance in cycling.
Blockchain technology and its use
Hrbotický, Lukáš ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This diploma theses concerns the matter of blockchain technology and its practical use, especially for nonfinancial services. Theoretical part describes the blockchain technology from the technological and juridical point of view and examples of its practical use are also mentioned. In the practical part two laboratory exercises were designed for further familiarization of the blockchain technology, in which students try some real applications on their own.
Saddle pressure mapping related to bike fitting
Červeňová, Lívia ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Hrbotický, Lukáš (advisor)
The goal of this work is to find the optimal bicycle fitting so as to increase the performance of the cyclist and also to help prevent injuries. The theoretical part contains an anatomical view of cycling, the causes of injuries and their prevention, and various methods of bicycle fitting. Parameters of the saddle itself are also mentioned. The practical part is the comparison of 15 different bicycle saddles and the pressure acting on the saddles based on the bike fit and different saddle parameters.
Wattmeters for cycling
Hrbotický, Lukáš ; Hanák, Petr (referee) ; Korvas, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis talking about problematics of measuring the wattage of cycling on a road bike. It describes ways in which it is possible to measure the wattage on the bike and explains functional principle of power meters. As practical part of this thesis the measurement is performed according to the proposed test protocol. Based on the analysis and processing of the obtained data, the accuracy of individual types of meter performance is discussed.
Electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions
Hrbotický, Lukáš ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Bachelors thesis talking about problematics of electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions. It describes and explains concepts used in the area of electronical communication mentioned in regulation eIDAS. Solutions demonstrating trust services are part of the work. As practical part of this thesis was created laboratory exercise, in which will students try the possibilities offered by certification authority. The goal of this work is explanation and definition of concepts according to eIDAS regulations and realization of system demonstrating these services.
Analysis of pedaling technique on a bicycle
Kohoutek, Jan ; Korvas, Pavel (referee) ; Hrbotický, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis talking about the analysis of the pedalling technique. It describes pedalling technique, the effects of poor technique on health and the possibilities of pedalling analysis. In the practical part, measurements are made according to a given test protocol and obtained results and the applicability of the pressure pads as a tool for the analysis of pedalling technique are discussed.
In the practical part, measurements are made according to a given test protocol. On the basis of the subjective evaluation of the riding technique, hypotheses were developed and confirmed or rejected by evaluating data from the BTS SMART DX and Medilogic pressure insoles.
