Gasper, Michal ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Holoubek, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and produce a LED 3D object controlled by a microcontroller. The research part deals with the topic of microcontrollers, their history, architecture and components. Furthermore, this section describes the selection of a microcontroller and the resulting device for this work. In the practical part, the own design and solution is discussed in detail. Subsequently, the procedure for producing and writing the program code for controlling the LED 3D object is described. The program is written in C++ using the Arduino IDE and the FastLED library. The result of the work is a functional product that fulfills the assignment.
Ninepin Bowling Automata – separation and transport of skittles
Nevoral, Tomáš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of an automatic non-string pinsetter machine for nine-pin bowling. Firstly, a summary of rules and technical standards important for constructing an automatic pinsetter machine was created. The next part of the thesis contains market research and verification of patent safety. The final part of this thesis is focused on the conceptual design and construction of an automated pinsetter machine. Complete construction and technological design of the sweep wagon, horizontal and vertical elevator of skittles and their practical implementation. Design of (AC) drives for the motorized assembled parts.
Mobile robot path planning by means of cellular automata
Holoubek, Tomáš ; Šoustek, Petr (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with a path planning using cellular automata algorithms in a rectangular grid environment. Theoretical part starts with an overview of commonly used approaches for path planning and later on focuses on existing cellular automata solutions and capabilities in detail. Implemented cellular automata algorithms and the commonly used path planning algorithms are together with a map generator described in the practical part. Conclusion of this thesis contains results completed in a special application.
Machine Vision: Support for Lab Applications
Starý, Vojtěch ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with machine vision problematics and its use for laboratory applications. Machine vision is basically the substitution of human vision for machines using a video camera and a computer. The essence of this thesis is a brief review of machine vision and the issues associated with machine vision systems and brief description of hardware, software and algorithms used for this work. Implementation of machine vision on Raspberry Pi and Cognex platform. Connection of the Raspberry Pi platform with a parent platform (automaton, robot) and subsequent evaluation of the solution.
Visual inspection of component dimensions
Kadaňka, Jan ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the comparison of an industrial system for object recognition and measurement with an affordable camera on the Raspberry Pie platform. The theoretical part briefly describes several methods for measuring dimensions, which are commonly used in industry, along with a general description of technical equipment for image recording. The next section describes 3 industrial systems for image analysis. The practical part of the work deals with the design of the measuring stand, the description of the technical equipment, the implementation of measurements using both platforms and the subsequent evaluation.
Augmented reality and its use
Ibehej, David ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
Augmented reality is one of the most developed technological areas. It corresponds with the fact, that we hear more and more about it and therefore it needs to be considered for the future. This bachelor thesis attempts to provide brief research in topics of its definition, history, current usage, shortcomings and options in the field of game engines and developer tools. In second part it demonstrates possible utilization in industry providing the solution of mechanical component projection and interaction.
PetNetSim Library Computation Performace Optimization
Dražka, Vojtěch ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to optimize the computation speed of the PetNetSim library, which is currently implemented in Python. The purpose of the thesis was to approach the optimization from a broader perspective and try to speed up Python using various techniques. The thesis explores the solutions available in the form of alternative interpreters, extending modules, trans-compilation methods and the possibility of developing the computational core as a module written in the system language. The practical part describes efforts to implement these methods and their comparison. Furthermore, the multiprocessing method is implemented and the procedure for developing the computational core as an extending module is outlined.
Simulation and traffic control using Petri nets
Zbranek, Matyáš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the modelling, simulation and control of a real traffic light intersection using Petri nets. Nowadays, when many people own a car, road traffic and time spent on the road becomes an important part of life. Intersections are often critical places where traffic slows down or even stops. The theoretical part introduces Petri nets, some traffic management systems and studies that have solved traffic situations using Petri nets. The practical part relies on traffic measurements at the intersection. The traffic light model, car clearance and the model of the whole intersection are described. In order to make the traffic in the simulation as close as possible to the real behaviour, stochastically timed Petri nets are used. Furthermore, possible control sequences are proposed and simulated with different traffic volumes. Finally, all data are evaluated and the designs are compared. The PetNetSim library editor was used to generate the models.
Water saving
Dzoba, Matúš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the economic consequences of water savings, technical implementation of the energy saving systems and production of an educative model. Accordingly, the impact of water saving on the environment is mentioned, too. Subsequently, the theoretical bases of a logical operating needed for a realization of the model are mentioned as well. The following chapter describes the parts of the environment LOGO! Soft Comfort that are used for the development of the program. In the final part, a detailed procedure of the design of the operating program is drawn up.
Ninepin Bowling Automata – elevator and ball thrower
Robota, Jakub ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis was to design and construct ninepin ball elevator for automated pin setter machine and ninepin ball launcher to simulate load and to verify correct function of the setter machine. Also, a ball track was designed as a means of transport for the ball from elevator to launcher. Theoretical part of thesis contains research into ninepin bowling, its rules and analysis of different applicable solutions found on the market that deal with automated pin setters and their ball elevators. Furthermore, a separate research into ball launchers was conducted. Practical part of thesis was comprised of own solution to design and construction of elevator, which extended already designed pin setter machine. After this, track for ball was designed and constructed together with ball launcher which imitates load that would the machine experience during usual game.
