The Study of Storage Management in Business Firm

The Bachelor´s thesis describes the closing down of the local warehouse belonging to Nokian Tyres s.r.o.. The main focus of the thesis evaluates the consequences of strategic decisions, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service with no notable deterioration in performance.
Implementation of Information System ANDI in Speech Therapy Practice

This thesis focuses on development of the ANDI project, which aims to make it easier for speech therapists to manage information about their clients and therapies. The paper deals with the usability of the ANDI application software for wider groups of customers. This is followed by qualitative research, based on which subjects representing possible archetypes of potential future users are selected. Based on interviews with these specialists, a list of specific requirements is compiled, the implementation of those requirements then expands the functionality of the system and its practical usability. At the end of the paper, there is an evaluation from the author's point of view and an outline of the further possible development of the project, both in the implementation of the new version of ANDI 2.0 to several independent speech therapy practices, and also for the establishment of cooperation with the commercial project Logapka.
Development of an Application Suitable for Storing Results of Speech Therapy

Thesis is focused on software development. The developed application is for speech therapist practise and its main function is storing information about clients and their therapies. The first part of the paper is about systems development life cycle and theoretical step by step approach for software development. The second part of the thesis speaks about development of an application called ANDI, which serves to speech therapists. This software is able to store data about clients and their sessions. Program can also be used for long-term observation of client progress. Data are insert through electronic forms and outputs are presented in multiple charts.
Therapeutic community in the treatment system of drug addicts and its specific therapeutic programs

This thesis is focused on therapeutic communities in the treatment system of drug addicted clients and on their methods, programs and mission of employed therapists to achieve better restoration of the drug addicted clients. The aim of this work is to widely describe the treatment process in therapeutic communities and zoom in an enviroment and whole treatment system which creates safety place for each member of the community. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes today's czech experience in therapeutic communities, whereas the importance is laid on introducing therapeutic methods and programs effectively used in social work with drug addicts.Practical part forms own qualitative research, precedented with intership in the therapeutic community Karlov.
Women Hockey Players - Patterns of Masculinity and Femininity (Case Study of a Czech Hockey Team)

This study discusses ways how patterns of masculinity and femininity construct themselves in gendered practices of ice hockey, in the bodies of female ice hockey players and their gender identifications and how the players construct their gender performances. Opening section describes gender as an analytical category in the sport as a male domain where there are reproduced and emphasized elements of traditional masculinity as physical strength and dominance that are contrasted to the attributes of traditional femininity such as vulnerability and passivity. It outlines how gender is constituted in the sport in general and in ice hockey as a masculine sport, and how the norms of masculinity and femininity are reproduced through them. The dynamics of relationship between gender and ice hockey team is treated within the case study of a Czech women hockey team. The study discusses how gender positions of female hockey players of this team are constituted within the team dynamics, the effect of normative femininity to the constructions of physical performances, the concept of physical fitness for hockey and gender conformity appearance. It also outlines the gendered formal grounding of the women hockey through the rules and hierarchical structures and the influence of media coverage and the segregation...
