Parish Revitalisation

1 Abstract A renewal of the fundamental functions of parish in the contemporary society is one of the most discussed issues in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. This thesis deals with a revitalization of parish. Analysing a process of renewal of three different parishes, it draws general rules for revitalization and proposes steps for its implementation. A particular attention is paid to institutional, economic and pastoral aspects of this process.

Digital Processing of The Motion Picture

The Master Diploma Thesis: ?Digital Processing Of The Motion Picture? concerns new technologies and procedures of the digital production of the feature film. It compares the digital and the classical way of making film and describes technological and economical advantages and disadvantage of both. It shows the whole process of the film production starting with its capturing and ending with the cinema distribution. It describes technical data of the products used for capturing, postproduction and film screening. It explains the basic terms often used in the digital cinematography. It also deals with the digital distribution and what is its future, based on the document issued by the ?Digital Cinema Initiatives?. The thesis also mentions films that have used certain digital technologies for the first time in history. Secondary concern of the thesis is the use of systems that are not yet available. It is good to be aware of them for the future purposes.
